I'm pretty sure it always hits the guarantee. For the small buy-in, the structure is pretty good. 1/2 hour levels generally suck in live tournaments, because you get short quickly and then once you get short you get in a very minimal number of hands per level due to all the counting of chips in all-in situations that has to be done. But for a $300 buy-in tourney with a big field that ends in one day, you're not going to get a better structure. There's a lot of play early with the 10K stacks.
The one time I played this year 1st was $28K. I finished 25th, which paid slightly less, $595.

ya it looks really decent i just passed up on the prelims at ceasars indiana bec of all the bad talk and the trashy i want your money fast scructures
