Has anyone played any of the $160+$15 satellites for the main event? How many players have they been getting? (Or have they been getting enough to run?)

Making a name gboro or imdanutz and posting under it would be completely different actually. This is very obvious and I'm sure Greg knows that a sn as simple and common as his might have others similar. He hasn't show any signs of trying to fool people that his identity is Greg.

I agree with Hold 'em1588 ... I mean just like there is more then one Greg in the world, I'm sure that there is more than one person with the handle of DuckU around the internet (as evidenced by the fact that many handles these days around the internet, have numbers after them ... including I might point out .. your very own handle that you are right now using on 2+2).

If Greg had really wanted make sure that he had the handle of DuckU on 2+2 (with no numbers following the name) ... then he (this Greg person you speak of) should of grabbed it first. As it stands, the current DuckU has had the handle here on 2+2 since Feb of 2009.

To come here 2 + years after the fact and get on DuckU's case about it ... well that's not really fair, now is it?

20 full tables, and I heard 40 alts. Tomorrow everyone better register before 6, I got here then and was like 190th to sign up.

Super sick. Way more than I thought they'd get. Will be there tomorrow to ship the seat.

Well without asking anything I thought it was probably him also and I am glad someone pointed out it wasn't. But, once it was clarified I think that should be the end of it since he hasn't done anything wrong and it's such an obvious sn that someone else could have. It just felt like you were almost coming onto him like he did something wrong intentionally. Even asked him why he would pick that sn on 2+2 if he wasn't the real DuckU. As if every single poker player is supposed to know him and avoid that sn. Anyway, it's an obvious coincidence etc. so carry on.

Does anyone have any feedback on how the structure been playing for the $160+15 when it's multi-table? With 6,000 (3,000+3,000 dealer add-on chips) will there be a decent average stack when they get down to 40 players or less? Or shove-fest to be one of the 1 in 10?

what is everyones guess on the amount of entries for the first prelim? the $200+$25+$10 holdem event on firday 10/7. anyone know how many tables are available for these events? will we be seeing any sold out events?

Anyone know when registration starts for the prelims? I registered for the ME, and I think i remember the guy saying the prelims were day-of, but I'm not positive.

The structure is good. Right now, after nearly 4 hours, there are around 85 players left at 800/1600
/200. We started with 211 total runners, and we started with 10k, not 6k as stated above. I'm on my phone so I'm not gonna calculate average BB right now. Of course I only have time to write this because I just busted, and waiting on my ride.

How long are the rounds for the mtt satellites?

20 minutes with excellent blind increase structure (i.e., no skipped levels and starts at 25-50)

Impressions:

The temporary tables are pretty standard. The chairs aren't nearly as nice as the poker room, which has the best chairs in town. The chips are amazing(they're using the standard Isle chips from what I've heard.) They're heavy clay, and have the denominations printed on them.

Half of my dealers were great. Unfortunately, they had to hand-shuffle. One dealer better not be there another day. During his down at my table, he actually tried shuffling the board face-up into the deck three times. He never gave change, unless asked. When it was time to cut the deck, he would look at the deck. Then, he would look at his cut card. Then, look at the deck, then, reach for the deck. It was surreal. The floor staff was great, especially for their first day. Right next to the poker room, they were selling hotdogs/mini bratwurst for a buck. Great place to get calories quickly.

The main event is going to have 450 players(2 full Day 1s), I'd be willing to bet.

All in all, if this event keeps going like this, it's going to crush the HPT in Colorado. And it should.

Anyone know how long it took to get down to the qualifiers last night? Or is it still going right now? Ha, ha!

Crazy turnout. I am not big fan of tourney but it also generated crazy cash game action. I am going back to Isle play those cash games with disgruntled tournament players

Definitely: as the tourney started last night, there were 7 cash games going upstairs.

As an aside, I ran the numbers on the final table. Assuming that the tourney caps at 450 players, and everyone does the add-on, at the 6-person final table, the average stack will never be less than 45BBs. That's great.

I doubt I'll play tonight, but I am considering playing in the 3PM tomorrow, or possibly the Saturday event.
