Black Hawk Casino - WPT Regional -Colorado Poker Showdown Oct. 1-13 - Page 2 - WSOP and Tournament Circut

There will be a 1/2 PLO 1/2 NLHE event and a Limit Omaha Hi/Lo event in the mix. We are anticipating having the complete schedule out by the middle of the month. The schedule includes 10 events over 12 days. In addition to the two events already mentioned, we will also have a 6-max NLHE event and then the rest are made up of NLHE and the WPT Regional Event, which is the final 3 days. Buy-ins for the preliminary events range from $225 to $545 and the main event will be $1600.

As you all read this post, notice the colorado ace is spreading lies about the wpt coming to town when they already finalized the tournaments for this season, funny how its all a scam with the isle of capri poker room...look at the website for the wpt! There is nothing for this casino on it...

all the tournaments have been announced as far as sites folks, and pay attention to the links...the schedules may come finalized with details...but THE WPT CONFIRMS ON THIS LINK THAT ALL SITES ARE FINAL! Was really looking forward to playing in some events. Can't believe he would have made that stuff up just to shill his room. Eventually -- as it did -- the truth would have to come out ... and then he and the Isle would look really sleazy. Does anyone know the real story behind all this?

On a side note, the Colorado Poker Open at Gates is getting a good turnout. I played the 60-60-60 event last night, took 6th place out of 108 entries. Good time, even got berated for calling a 3x bet on button with 10-7 sooted and cracked some guys AA who told me I should learn how to play the game. Brought a smile to my face and I agreed, being lucky is usually better than be good. LOL

I remember reading somewhere that they were going to disclose some new WPT info, including some new locations in the U.S. and Internationally at the next WPT event at the Bike this month. Hopefully it is announced soon so people can prepare for the event. A WPT in Colorado would be super sweet tho.
