So I have $400 to buy into some daily events in Vegas this coming week before I head home for Christmas break and I am trying to decide what the best use of the $400 is.

Options: Enter 2 Aria $125 events and 1 venetian $150 event.
Enter 1 venetian $150 event and 1 Aria $240 event
or Enter 1 Venetian $400 doublestack event

This is assuming I don't cash. If I did cash it would of course change my options and my budget.

I am a little bit hesitant to use all of my cash in only 1 event, but the $400 venetian event certainly has the best structure and most amount of play. If i save it for 3 events, I will have 3 bullets though. The $240 Aria event (runs on Fridays-Sundays) is actually not a great structure for an event with that kind of buy in. It's the same fast structure as the $125 event, but you do get 20k chips rather than 10k.

I have played the aria 125 event and venetian 150 events before.

what would you do with the $400 and why?

I haven’t compared the structures, but I would typically go for the biggest bang for my buck, and that would probably be the 400 since it will have by far the larger prize pool.

Another alternative would be to play one of the 125/150’s and then take the rest to one of the cash rooms and play 1-2 for a while. Maybe you could run up your bankroll and end up playing the 400 as well.
