Scoring - http://www.europeanpokertour.com/awards/how-it-works/

To show how important all of the Events at all of the EPT Tour Stops are, our two winners so far this season, Kevin Stani (Tallinn) and Toby Lewis (Vilamoura) are in a three way tie for THIRD after each winning an EPT this season. Thanks. Am I going to be able to register for this/any other side-events on Pokerstars? Also, how do I get your job?

Hi Ghost,

You can register right now on PokersStars -

EVENTS - EPT - QUALIFIERS - #298740052 - Event #32

All of the London Events are available for Online DBI now

As far as I know, I am the only one lucky enough to have this type of job. If I was better at poker you'd have a chance at it. With my current break even style (or "Bubble B*tch" as Annette so lovingly calls me ) I will likely need this job for quite a while, sorry

Hi Roothlus,

This is the response from the Head Cashier at the Vic...I PMed you as well...

--------------------------

Hi Neil,

All cheques, whether bank drafts, cashiers checks or personal cheques, have to be made out to either GVC, Grosvenor or Victoria Casino, and sent to the Casino, the only issue is these cheques have to cleared prior to release of funds, so realistically need to be made out in £ sterling and drawn on a London bank.

Time is certainly running out to clear any in time, so a wire transfer would be recommended at this stage.

Hope this helps

Kind Regards

Hey man. Sorry to be a bother and I appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule to post here. Anyways, I ended up getting a cashier's cheque made out to Victoria Casino but in USD and didn't know to get it cleared with the casino. Any way they can accept it? If not what's the wiring info and up until when can I send a wire?

Love the schedule for Prague, when will sats for it start? Thanks

When will step6s show up for EPT Vienna? Is there a reason why you wouldnt always have two step6s to different EPTs? People like planning and this also obv brings more players to each event.

Hi All,

McMatto - #30 - This guy has all the specific wire details...

You can register for the Main Event and side events in person at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino or by money transfer, bank draft or personal UK cheque. For full details, please contact Tony Peters : cashier_GC-London-Victoria@rank.com . Registration will be available at the Hilton from 11am, or one hour beforehand for later events.

You have to contact them directly as they will give you a unique reference number.

Roothlus - #31 - I emailed Tony (from above) back for all the details. I'll PM you with the number when I get it so you can sort things directly with them. You can also try the email I gave McMatto directly, but I am hoping they will give me a way for you to use your cashier's check.

Marek - #32 - Thanks! I think Prague is going to be a great close to 2010! Do the event, then home for the holidays Barcelona Sats will begin on Monday and Prague Sats will begin mid October. Good Luck!

9's - #33 - I spoke with Bryan about it and while we were chatting he deployed them . First one up is a Step G #313732607. There will not be any USD Step 6's to the EPT, only € Step G's.

Cheers All,

Hi Neil I´ve bought in to the 5k£ hu-tourney through the poker stars client, will I receinve any kind of informational e-mail or do I just go to the casino and find my name in the list of participants?

Regards
09-24-2010 , 01:41 PM
Hi Junior,

You'll need to bring ID to the tourney and we will verify you against our lists. Then, we'll do the draw right at 11:55ish. The players will then be bracketed, NCAA tourney style, so you can tell what your possible route to the title will look like.

--------------------

As a side note to everyone. With the WSOPE 10K Heads Up getting 103 players, I want to advise everyone to register early if they plan to play the 5K HU at EPT London. We have 64 spots and that is a hard cap. We can't finish in two days with 128 and Day 3 would then be Day 1B of the Main Event, so we won't be going beyond 64.

For the €5K Heads Up at EPT Monte Carlo, we sold out all 64 spots on the Pokerstars Client 3 hours before live registration opened at the Venue. We had a number of players who ended up disappointed and weren't able to get in.

Please register in advance if you don't want to be locked out!

Cheers,

Hi All,

There have been a number of questions about the £100 + £10 + £10 Charity Event next weekend so I wanted to provide a quick explanation.

1. This is a “Re Entry” Event, not a Re Buy Event. The difference is, in a rebuy event, you simply hand the dealer or floor person another buyin when you bust, the dealer gives you another stack and you stay in your seat and keep playing. For a “Re Entry” Event, once you bust, you must get up, go to the registration desk, buy in again and you will be given an entirely new seat with a fresh stack.

2. The INITIAL buy in is £100 + £10 + £10 with £10 going to charity. All of the “Re Entries’” are £100 + £10 with the £10 going to charity. There is no admin fee on the “Re Entries” for Day 1A or Day 1B. There is an Admin Fee on your INITIAL entry on Day 1A and Day 1B.

3. There will be eight levels of late registration. Players can register until the start of Level Nine. The levels are 25 minutes long.

4. You may “Re Enter” as many times as you like on either day 1 until the start of Level Nine. The only players prohibited from playing on Day 1B are all players who cashed on Day 1A. Once you have cashed this Event, even if you were eliminated after your cash, your tournament is completed.

5. The structure is available at http://www.europeanpokertour.com/tou...events/london/

6. Each Day 1 will play down to the final two tables (16 players) and those players will return for Day 2.

7. Each Day 1 will pay 10% of its field down to 16 players.

Example -

a. Day 1A – 496 players, Day 1B – 705 players.
b. 10% rounded in 8 handed tables = Day 1A pays 48 and Day 1B pays 72
c. Day 1A – from 48 to 17 will be paid X, Y and Z
d. Day 1B – from 72 to 17 will be paid X, Y and Z
e. Day 2 – 16 players from 1A and 16 players from 1B return, all in the money and play down to a single winner
f. Day 2 – Play begins at the earliest level between 1A and 1B. If 1A stops on Level 15 and 1B stops on Level 18, play resumes at Level 15 time from Day 1A.

Any other questions, please let me know.

Cheers,

Neil

Neil,

If we direct bought into an ept event via pokerstars client, say the 1100 tomorrow, what do we need to do now? do we need to go to the vic and get a players card or do we just show up tomorrow at the hilton? Where do i complete registration? Thanks.

Neil,
How long is late reg in the 8 game, scott seiver and i both just looked at the schedule and were pretty annoyed with how bad the structure is, there is absolutely no point in having us play almost 100 big bets deep at any point. You should just start out 60 bets deep in the future and have the first 3 hours be the same levels. As it is just creates incentive to register as late as possible and avoid wasting hours playing limit games for microstakes $ev swings
09-27-2010 , 03:28 PM
Hi All,

JDP - 38 - Since you bought in on PokerStars, just bring your ID to the Hilton tomorrow. We will post the seat draw 5-10 minutes prior to the start of the tourney and the dealer at your table will have a sheet to check your ID against.

Fatal - 39 - Late reg is two levels plus the break. For the 2K 8 Game, that is just under 2 hours, so right around 4pm will be the end of late reg.

Neil,

Is there page with more details on buy in? Can we do bank transfer on the day or does it need to be completed in advance?

I don't want to buy in on PS and there isn't much info otherwise.

Thank you.

I bought in to the main event by bank transfer. Can I do the same thing or do I need to go join the vic first?

Sorry I missed the last three questions, I didn't see there were new posts after mine.

Fatal and David, I am assuming your stuff was sorted.

Hi Fabre,

If we started it at 7, it would go until between 2-3am and we need to start breaking things down and wrapping things up between 11 and midnight on the final night.

Charder, I regged for a tourney using stars $ at the hilton approx 30 mins before start time

iirc there's a desk with a sign above it saying "online registration"
