Let’s hope the Wynn pulling back some is a sign that others will too. Otherwise, this nickel and diming of tourists is only going to get worse.

Kudos to you for taking a stand against ridiculous parking rake. Wynn and Golden Nugget did not charge for parking for Senior's events. Aria lot was 80% empty. MGM not raking any more from me ever.

Played the nightly $240 on Friday. They moved the venue and it's less cramped than previous years. Still a ****show when you have people waiting from 8pm to 9:30pm to get into a tournament. Sad that they only have around 15 tables/dealers. I'll more often in the future stick with the Golden Nugget tournaments with 61 tables.

So you're saying that if you register late( starting time is 7:00 PM) there will be a waiting list ? Did it happen that the numbers in the 11:00 AM 400 were such that the 240 had to adjust ?

Does the Nugget have a similar late night tourney ?

If you register late, you probably won't be playing until level 7 or 8. People that showed up at 7:15 weren't playing until level 6.

My point is if you're going to run a "tournament series" you should add more than just a dozen or so tables. Ridiculous to have 50+ people waiting around for over an hour to get in.

So they’ve only got 15 tables for all events, including the ones that start at 11 am?

The 11am they seemed to have 180 players most times for pretty much the first 6-8 levels. With a very long alternate list. They would start with 2-3 tables in the poker room. There was still a decent sized waiting list though.

Yeah, I’ve been looking at the results and seeing the numbers, making it obvious they’ve got a table issue. Because of that, I’ve decided to swap my Sunday and Monday plans: I’ll play a NLHE event somewhere the former day instead of the Aria PLO8 and head to PH the latter day for its $600 PLO8 with a $50k guarantee. Hopefully, Aria will get more serious about tournaments next summer and dedicate more space for them.

Are there also big alternative lists for the nightly tournaments? Or is this just an issue for the 11am starts?

Often big alternate lists for the 7pm. I got there about 8 to play it one night and had to wait an hour or so. Play in it is SOOOOO squishy soft though.

I really enjoy the dealers/venue/staff but it drives me crazy that I've been playing their summer series for 4-5 years and it's still the same issue with crazy waiting lists and not enough tables. This year was an improvement as far as being less cramped but PLEASE next year add 4 more tables/dealers for the 11am and 7pm dailies.
