First time going to Macau to play poker. Any tips on basic Macau life and poker etc? Gonna be playing the pokerstars live APPT Macau @city of dreams.

Thinking of bringing cash there from Australia and then finding a good place to exchange to HKD before storing $$ in the cage (do they do that in Macau?)

Thoughts on level of play/softness there?

I was in Macau last year. In my opinion, Hard Rock Hotel it's the best choice for PokerStars arena live

Same location, only 5 minutes need. Hotel room's very nice, support, all it's ok.

Sorry missed this thread, don't know if too late now as event has begun.

Just wanted to let you know Hard Rock Hotel is no more and is now called Countdown Hotel. Same location and all but just change of name. Best of luck!
