60 min levels with all included levels is a very nice structure. WSOP 1k events have 3-5k players, if you started with 10k chips it would last forever and ever. The structure is good, it just ensures that pots are meaningful starting in level 1.

Jimmy,

I have greatly enjoyed the tournaments of yours that I have played in, and look forward to accepting your congratulations on a ring victory in Choctaw or Tunica.

The most impressive thing is your willingness to say hello and shakes hands with everyone, regardless of how busy you are. When speaking with you you always demonstrate a level of courtesy, respect, professionalism and humbleness that cannot be over stated. Thanks for everything Jimmy, you will be missed!

Thanks Jody , I always have treated everyone the same , whether you are a 1-5 stud player or pot limit player. I never tried to promote myself. I just wanted to make the game and especially the tnmts the best they could be. Thanks for your support

Also- I don't think your Day 2 or 3 reseating scheme gets enough love. Balancing all the tables with about equal chips makes a lot of sense.
A few things caught on and a few things are hanging by a thread. I was not scared of change if I thought it was better. Third man walking caught on. Redraw by chips did not. And round for round instead of hand for hand us barely hanging on. I think round for round is so much better. I really stuck my neck out for the day two redraw and did not hear much negative advice but no one else used it so I dropped it.

Jimmy what kind of candy does Bill like? Don't need to bring you any since you are now a "lame duck". And who is going to pay me my salary of 2 bottles of water from now on or am I being fired?

Jimmy,

It’s always a pleasure participating on your events and meeting you. Your professionalism, courtesy and fairness etc.. are next to none. Last year at Choctaw, OK $1600NLH-Main Event, I had a family emergency at the last minutes and could not participate on the event. I came to you expressed my situations…. Without questions, you gave me the options either money back or transfer the seat to someone else. I elected to transfer to a friend. Meant a lot to me!!! Best wishes and good luck on your retirement.

Cheers,
Doug

Although we've had our differences on a few things in the past, you were one of the tds I found receptive to my suggestions, and on a few occasions made changes on the fly. I appreciate that and your dedication to your family.

Best of luck with the new venture.

Had a dream that you were going to be like pro football players and come out of retirement.
