$3500 WPT Main Event question

Hello everyone,
I am thinking about playing the upcoming 3500 WPT Main at Maryland Live in October. I have never played a WPT Main before and just wanted to get a feel of what it compares to. The biggest event I've played is WSOPC Main events at the various east coast stops (Atlantic City, Baltimore, and Cherokee). Most of my live experience comes in the WSOPC events (365-580's). I am a winning player in the WSOPC events. I have also played several other events at Maryland Live (the 500 bounties, a few 1ks during their series).
Mainly what I'm asking is a 3500 WPT comparable to a WSOPC Main event? How's the overall play? I usually only fire one bullet in these events, so when I play a circuit main, day 1a is usually on Friday and day 1b is on Saturday, so day 1b is usually the better day to play as less recs want to take Friday off to play 1a. However, looking at the WPT, at least at MD Live, day 1a is Saturday and day 1b is sunday. This leads me to think that day 1a might be the softer day to play.
Thanks.

Some places really push their satellites and force winners to play 1a, which makes 1a soft. You might want to check to see if that is the case for this event.

In my limited experience, the $3700 WPT at Choctaw was tougher, but not overwhelmingly so, than the $1675 WSOPC mains at the same venue.
