This is not new ! It’s going on since last 5-7 years . Someone suddenly took all the credit for the success and delaying schedule to prove self ego that he is responsible for WSOP success.
They knew how in advance they have approch CCC ( or whatever name of states authority in Nevada) in order to release schedule or part of it in January.
But if Corporate bosses ( Normally Non Gaming People) finds out how easy the process is then someone may loose the Job easily
