I haven't tried Jack Binion's Steakhouse. But The Burger place has a small menu and is mediocre.
Binion's is top flight not cheap $100-$200 but excellent steaks. Also try the French Restaurant at Paris Mon Ami Gabi more moderately priced but excellent food also French Onion soup is tremendous. If you want a burger go just outside to Wahlberger.

The kiosk fee is $3. At least it has been since kiosks became a thing.

I wasn’t really promoting any particular place. I was just saying there are tons of options in a relatively small area at all sorts of price points.

My favorite spots in the vicinity are Dave’s Hot Chicken in the Grand Bazaar and GR Steak in Paris.

My plan is to use cash for buy ing in which obviously you can do one event a time this way. What I haven't been able to confirm is if I can still utilize all of the pre-reg/loading of bravo account but with cash? For example I arrive on the on the night of the 6th and was hoping to load my account with my est. $ buyins for the trip in cash and then use the app and kiosks? I know there is a 3 dollar fee for using the kiosks to print your tickets, but what I haven't been able to deduce is if you can avoid the 3% credit card fee for loading your account by using cash? Thanks for any tips or advice for a WSOP first timer.

Sean
Go to the payout room when you arrive and load up your TBIC account with cash. It’s free. Just remember you can load your account as many times as you want, but you can only withdraw once.

Then you can use these funds to buy into and re enter events and get your table assignments at kiosks. Be aware, that re-entry usually means having to wait in a line to get your seat assignment. So while it’s faster to use the kiosk than waiting in a line to pay, you still won’t necessarily get another seat real quick, especially for crazy day 1 events, like those under $1000.

Thank you that's what I was assuming and hoping was the case but wanted to make sure. Yeah my first WSOP event ever being the gladiator will be a zoo I am sure. I will be happy if I can make day 2 on 6 bullets or less lol.

My recollection from last year was that Gladiators was run pretty smoothly. It wasn’t till they lost a bunch of dealers the second half of the series and had a number of low buy in events stacked up on top of each other that things got super crazy. But of course, the usual advice to register as soon as you can and not wait till the day of still holds, especially for later flights.

Thank you! I'll be patiently waiting.......

Does anyone have a solution to get around the paid parking at the Horseshoe? (I stay off strip)

Last year you could get a Caesars Visa which would give you the tier status required for free parking but it seems this isn't an option this year.....I wish Caesar points didn't reset every year.

If you served in the military, they offer the Caesars Rewards Salute card that gives you Platinum status which gives you free parking and valet in Vegas.

Well I have been trying to find out how to wire transfer funds to the WSOP as I have done in years past. They are using BRAVO exclusively it seems ,

Hello XXX

Thanks for your interest in the 2024 WSOP. Everything is being filtered by Bravo Poker Live now. If you have not done so already you will have to open an account with Bravopokerlive.com with your total rewards number. Bravo Poker Live website will allow you register events online. You will be able to fund the account with wire transfer and credit cards. Online registration will be open on Bravo Poker Live mid to the end of April. Bravo Poker Live will be taking wires thru the app called PayFiniti

After looking into Payfiniti (they don't even have a MOBILE APP out yet ) and realizing I would have to provide to PAYFINITI my Bank account information and allow them Assess to my Account I balked and tried again with WSOP support. I HATE to provide any unknown app that kind of information and access considering the level of security breaches we have seen from established brokerage firms for example.

The only other option directly with Paris / WSOP appears to be a Cashiers Check.

Hello xxx
We are sorry for any inconvenience this my cause. Paris Las Vegas Operating Company, LLC will no longer accept wire transfers. However, you can do a cashier's check in advance. When doing a cashier's check before your arrival in Las Vegas, email a copy of the check to our credit department for verification. The credit department email is CZRCredit@Caesars.com and it must include your first and last name, Caesars Reward Number, and state that it is going to be used at the Paris Las Vegas for WSOP. If you use a cashier's check and send it to our credit department ahead it would save a few days before you come. You will still need to bring the original check with you to the Paris cashier cage in the Convention Center.

Thanks again

How does GR Steak compare to a typical U.S. steak place? Is it cooked differently?

Dang I somehow did not know this at all! Thank you for pointing this out. I have a basic level card at my local Caesars property so I have been missing out on platinum. Definitely going to get that upgraded. Also shout out to any of the other vet's on here! Since I don't play that much I never really looked into benefits of platinum. As far as as WSOP what is main benefits?

Just free parking. Platinum doesn't give much

Oh haha I am use to non casino hotel perks where platinum is the highest. I looked it up and saw just one above the minimum. I will still take it though.

Not to my knowledge. I don’t find anything odd about the food in any of the GR restaurants in Vegas. I also like Hell’s Kitchen quite a lot despite its relatively limited menu.

Okay, thanks. Those Brits like to cook meat weirdly sometimes, so you never know.

If Bravo Poker were interested in improving its brand image, they would have gone with an established banking partner, instead of what appears to be a start-up with apparently one customer (Bravo).

Maybe someday Payfinity will be legit. But for now, no thanks.

AMEN 🙏

I will just go thru the hassle of a Cashiers Check and carry my non WSOP event cash....even though that has a level of risk both of theft and confiscation by "over zealous" police.

I was in the habit of sending cashiers checks but I believe that Bravo didn't allow that option despite WSOP words to the contrary. I wired money instead. These two options require 'clearing time'. Now I just use a credit card and eat that cost. I'll bring cash for daily deepstacks and such.

I have had some fairly detailed and helpful email communications and I am confident you can do the Cashiers check by going thru

CZRCredit <CZRCredit@Caesars.com>

and

WSOP Faq <wsopfaq@caesars.com>

You just need to get the cashiers check a week in advance send Credit a COPY and they will clear it. IF everything is good you will have immediate access to your funds thru your TBIC account.

I probably knew this at one time, but I've since forgot - does Caesars Diamond move to the top of the list in the WSOP cash games?

It did for me last year. Went to the desk to put my name down for a seat. The lady saw my players card and said “Oh, you’re diamond. You don’t have to wait. Go to table ____.”

Thanks. I haven't played the cash games for the last few years because I was always chasing comps, and you don't get them in the WSOP room. But my card status is set for the next year, and Horseshoe has their promos going, which has made their games kinda crappy.

Plus you are surrounded by loud slots and a ton of foot traffic. And smokers. And not foot traffic headed to the Encore pool. Among my least favorite tournament settings I’ve ever seen.
