that means WSOP will be using different system for online pre-registration other then BravoLive.

May be I missed that announcement from WSOP.

Can someone post some details or link ?

Thx
Nah. There's been talk of 'Payfiniti' firing up this month but BravoPokerLive is still very much in play. I read that they 'own the Payfiniti wallet' ... whatever that means. BravoPokerLive is still the service to use. They just haven't activated yet for this year's WSOP. Last year they did so on April 13th. This being April 8th, I would expect to see it happen very soon. I don't know how the wsop+ app fits into all of this.

It sure doesn't look like they will. In the schedule release they note that they will again use BravoPokerLive for online/mobile registration. There's no mention of WSOP+ at all.

Anyone read if Ceasars will be running Main event qualifiers across the country at their properties again this year ?

Seniors high roller?

Yes, it’s a real shame that GN elected to hold its Super Seniors event on the same day as the Venetian. Although they are at somewhat different price points ($400 v $1100), it would’ve been nice to have the option to play both…..

The announcement for the 2024 schedule release said that main even qualifiers would be held at participating poker rooms, without too much detail as to when. Probably need to check each individual casino for details. I know Foxwoods has started running main event satellites this month. The list of participating locations, according to the WSOP release, includes the Horseshoe St. Louis, Grand Victoria Casino Elgin, Harrah’s Cherokee, Horseshoe Tunica, Harrah’s Pompano Beach, Thunder Valley Casino Resort, Turning Stone Resort Casino, Horseshoe Las Vegas, Foxwoods Resort Casino, and Graton Casino and Resort.

Exactly, it put a dent in my personal scheduling that's for sure. I like to play both events when possible. Probably comes down to how many WSOP Senior and Super Sr bullets I fire and results.

I suggest windex and an ophthalmologist exam unless I can figure out a way to start winning the critical flips at WSOP events.

All the jokes aside, I was Jealous about your statement “… like to play both events when possible. Probably comes down to how many WSOP Senior and Super Sr bullets I fire ….”

But from bottom of my heart I wish someone from 2+2 community makes FT in Sr. Or Super Sr.

I can plan only 1 bullet in Mystery Million!!

Sr. Or Super Sr. is questionable even conflicting schedules or not .

This senior needs 2/3 days rest between 2 tournaments to get back my mental and physical strength !!

Anyway I salute you and many others who has that kind of strength to play many events and fire multiple bullets !!!!

The WSOP silence regarding the online bracelet schedule is strange.

I'd guess WSOP is attempting to jump from their software to the GGPoker software, but Nevada law has complications that WSOP is hoping get sorted before June. Weird.

So I am already planning my trip out. I am aiming to be in Vegas a long time for this trip. I am going to be about a week and a half by myself and then another 6 days with family (no kids), but cousins, etc. The question I am having trouble is, where to stay this trip.

Right now my choices are
1. Aria - Good PLO games and not too far from WSOP events. I like the food options. Haven't had their new food court
2. Horseshoe - Kind of a **** hole, but close to WSOP events. A bit cheaper than Aria. Food options suck
3. Paris - Nicer than Horseshoe. Close to cash games (never stayed there before).

My main game at the moment is PLO 5/5 w Rock. But I am going to play a lot of small WSOP events leading up to the Main Event. (Might play some tournaments at the Wynn).

What would you do in my spot?

Will be moving to Bellagio when family comes.

Should be out after the super circuit series around the 22nd of April.

Stay at Horseshoe.
Walk over to Ellis Island for food.

Why do you think food options suck? You have Sbarros and fine dining, and everything in between in the vicinity. I can imagine what you thought of the Rio.

Haven't been on this forum in year's but attending my first ever wsop in June and wanted to confirm some things. I am staying at Horseshoe (decent price/close to action/convenience of being close to room between breaks, etc). Main question and I have read a lot of what everyone was talking about in the forum is regarding registration. If I do not wish to use credit cards for buying in. My plan is to use cash for buy ing in which obviously you can do one event a time this way. What I haven't been able to confirm is if I can still utilize all of the pre-reg/loading of bravo account but with cash? For example I arrive on the on the night of the 6th and was hoping to load my account with my est. $ buyins for the trip in cash and then use the app and kiosks? I know there is a 3 dollar fee for using the kiosks to print your tickets, but what I haven't been able to deduce is if you can avoid the 3% credit card fee for loading your account by using cash? Thanks for any tips or advice for a WSOP first timer.

My tips would be as follows

1. Pre-register the night before for small events. Things like the Mini Main Event and The small buy-in Mystery Bounty events, etc. will have 2 or 3 hour lines the morning of the event and you will get in super late.
2. If you can bring a sweater or dress in clothing that won't be an issue if the room is hotter or colder. Because some of the rooms have cold spots and hot spots. It's weird how it can vary.
3. Plan ahead for dinner breaks on big events. IF you are with a friends or if you have a significant other, it's good if they can get a table ahead of time. It can be a zoo.

If I recall, the Kiosk fee was $30 which is nuts. Not a huge issue for a $3K event, but it's a fortune on a $400 event.

Sbarros is kind of meh. What are your top 2 food picks at Horseshoe?

I haven't tried Jack Binion's Steakhouse. But The Burger place has a small menu and is mediocre.
