(The political stress comment refers to it be a high-tension election year which causes fear of potential violence among some people as well as the Israel situation, which is also clearly a hot button issue, may be causing fear and uncertainty among people. It also serves as a distraction and maybe causes some self-reflection to try to prioritize things in their life. Poker may not even be on some people’s radars at all this year.)

Or maybe I’m overthinking it all.
Looks like they are taking wire transfers, along with tons of other options to pay for an event. No Excuses to register! And Poker is on my radar and the # 1 priority for me!!
I deal with all the other stuff every other day I'm not at the WSOP ( and few other tourneys) That sh@# can stand down and wait!! No fear and uncertainty hear, that is exactly what they want you to have, not falling for it!

For some reason Andy Rich deleted that tweet, probably a small error to fix before re-posting it.

I never ask because I'm never going to tell if someone asks me. Unless it's nonsense like saying "Royal Flush" on a 7 high rainbow board.

Paris is absolutely NOT taking wire transfers for the WSOP this year unless something dramatic changed in the last 5 days. You must move money thru BravoPoker/Payfiniti OR get a pre approval for a Cashiers Check.

Really I say it once and leave it at that. Sorry to take 30 seconds of your life while the dealer shuffles the cards.

You can’t ask people to pay you to show your cards if you’ve already tossed your cards in. So you’ve either delayed tossing your cards for no good reason and wasted everyone’s time. Or your whole story wasn’t really what happened. Either way it’s a party foul.

I have never had a single table/player take me up on it. I wonder why if is important enough to ask why not throw me $2.00 for an honest answer. Or maybe poker players are just cheap?

Oh come on Akashenk he's not soliciting anything - somebody asks him and he tells them $2 - they can throw him money the next time when he still has cards........ He's not slowing anything up just setting his terms in advance and as Tomshooter has said no one has ever taken him up on it anyway which is the big surprise. Guarantee I'd pay for that info in many situations. Lighten up

When I’m in the mood (=drunk) I am doing the same thing, but instead of asking for 2$ I ask for tipping 10 (at 1-3) or 20 ( at 2-5) to the Dealer and then he/she can flip over my cards. Works quite a lot and also the Dealer is happy

This is why I call BS on the whole story. Anyhow, I’m not sure it belongs in this thread, and is now wasting my time as well, so I’ll just let it go.

I have an advantage on that issue since I met Tomshooter at last year's WSOP just as I have several other posters over the years. He doesn't strike me as a Bull shxtter. Now is the topic relevant to this thread....probably not.

ACH are damn expensive if you are funding any serious money this way. You almost have to wire them funds FOR A $25 fee instead.

Any idea what Payfinity’s cash out procedure/ fees are?
Planning on having $$ left over if not too many rebuys.

So if I understand correctly, you can fund your Payfiniti with crypto and cash out with crypto as well, no???

Thanks for your answer. It would be a good news for a lot of people I think. But I will still wait for an official confirmation before making any arrangements

Those fees are reminiscent of the old days of Vegas - when the mob ran things. An ACH transfer should cost next to nothing. Like way under a dollar.
