So just heard today (indirectly) from Matt Berkley on his Only Friends podcast, that one could have a full grind of PLO tournaments if he was to play at all the venues ; besides the Venetian, what other casinos offer tournaments of at least 500-1k BIs (and preferably higher) of PLO MTTs???

Just a players best friend for tournament review - Thank you so much

However I think this particular event has an S of 51 not the 34 listed. The same as Event 63 the $400 buy in Senior

Vegas 2024 Nugget No Limit Holdem Wed 6/26/2024 10:00 AM 400 17.5% 34 #79: Super Seniors

This is most helpful; thanks!

Some undocumented features of the 2024 WSOP already:

FYI, if you are using the bravo website and a pre loaded account, it is labeled as Bravo TBIC for those loaded with wire transfers and WSOP Tournament Account for those loaded in person with cash. This is a change from years past.

I do not use the bravo app (because it sucks), but I assume the labeling there is the same.

Not undocumented, thats what kevmath has been saying since it cale out

WSOP TA is the old TBIC where you went to the cage to verify funds (cash only).

Bravo TBIC is the new thing from payfiniti where you can wire/ach/crypto.

Its not on the app anyway, you could never register on the app, it leads you to the same website.

Well, perhaps Kevmath should start working in the WSOP cage since they were confused by this.

I'm seeing some mark event #48 as a turbo.... it's a fine structure for a PLO tournament, no?

Question for those that have played a satellite for the main. I see the schedule for the July 2-7 satalites with many different buy ins. Does anyone know the typical turn out numbers for those? Looking at the $580 or $1,100, but would like to play with a larger field. Also, is it better to just play one of the earlier satty’s like the $1,100 Millionaire Maker on June 30 if I’m looking for the largest turnout?

The Millionaire Maker is not a WSOPME satellite. But if you win a million+, you could probably afford the Main.

It’s also $1,500, not $1,100.

Sorry, meant the Mystery Million which is $1,100. The structure states for every $10,000 you get an entry OR casino chips. Seems to me you can use any satellite for any entry.

They will get bigger each day up until the main, with possibly smaller fields on the 4th. By the time the 6th rolls around, decent estimates would be 400 for the 10am, 1000 for the 1pm, and 600 for the 4pm.

I've never played a milestone satty before. What is the end game typically like? Are most or all of the seats won by reaching the milestone? Or is it more like a normal satty at the end where it's just the shorter stacks dueling it out for the remaining seats?

Say I was UTG, and won a pot that put me over the milestone. Paying the BB + ante the next hand would put me back under. Does play at the table stop until someone comes over and verifies my stack or would I be forced to post my BB + ante if someone was not immediately available?

Game freezes once you hit the milestone. You can't go over and not advance.

I've only played one, but felt like a lot of scared money and people looking to chop the remaining equity instead of playing for the milestone.

Do satties for the Main Event start multiple weeks before the tournament and run regularly?

I asked the floor about this...

Technically a player can go over the milestone and not advance.

Ex. Dealer pushes pot to player that takes them to 205k, player doesn't realize they have reached the milestone, continues to play, and drops below the milestone.

From floor *It is the players responsibility to alert the dealer and then subsequently floor*, then the players stack will be removed and be rewarded the payout.

I have only played a couple but was able to “milestone” on my first attempt. With it being 10 times the starting stack, it is pretty obvious when you are approaching it. I bet on my last hand knowing how many chips I needed to go over and then immediately said I’m out, and the floor came to verify.
