The $800 at the V with 40 minute levels, 30k in chips had a skill rating of 49.0. The $1,000 WSOP seniors has a skill rating of 44.0 and he $1500 Milly Maker has a skill rating of 54.37.

Re: 2021 WSOP

Assuming he is talking about "Patience Factor" being the same as "Skill Rating". I use a spreadsheet to calculate, but from memory, you calculate how many hours it would take to blind off if you never played a hand and then multiple that by itself. 6.25 hour BO is 6.25X6.25= Patience Factor of 39.06.

The higher the number the better. $60 local donkament would be around a 6 or 7, good online tournaments $10 or so could be 25 to 30 depending. Something like the Mil maker at WSOP could be 50+ I didn't run it.

Another helpful thing to compare is calculate how many hands of at least 30bb+ poker you will play if your stack remains the same.
Use 30 hands/hr for live and 50 for online.

So, you're saying that the bubble should come later this year than in 2019? 2019 was a four day tournament and this year is supposed to be 3.

I'm unfamiliar with the "skill rating." Does that translate well in limit tournaments/stud?

The skill rating in 2021 is closer to 48.3. I had said 54.79. In 2019 it was 32.63.

In 2019 the event lasted 28 levels. Day 3 started with 10 players and they quit after less than 2 levels with 6 left to goto day 4. It could have been finished in 3 days. The money bubble burst at level 15 in 2019. For 2021 with 40 min day 1 and 60 min day 2, the money bubble should bust in level 18 to 20. But 18 would be about 2 hours sooner than in 2019. 2021 will definitely be slower on day 1. But seems to pick up faster on day 2.

Re: 2021 WSOP

Skill rating: MOI 100.0. Everybody else, 0.3. Well. maybe 0.5 for Negreanu and Hellmuth.
