The stamp works the same as the bracelet except it costs less and is not transferable. And on second thought, the stamp would be for the day, not for an event. But I still think it would be a logistical nightmare and am more inclined to believe the WSOP will do very little in the way of crowd/room control. I don’t believe the WSOP has said a whole lot about protecting the premises against unvaccinated people other than requiring vaccination to play. In that regard they’ve already gone beyond what most large gatherings are doing at this time.
In other news Covid cases/hospitalizations/deaths continue to fall in LV. I’m going to give the WSOP the benefit of the doubt and assume they chose this time of year for the event on purpose. Had they held this during the summer or later this winter I don’t think the picture would be as rosy and they would probably be under more pressure to enforce stricter policies and/or have a smaller event, if one at all.
