Wonder what room rates will be the three Raiders home game weekends.

Thanks, Black Aces. Will look into losing a buy-in at the Seniors.

Making first Vegas trip, but sadly won't be in until 11/9 or 11/10. Hopefully room rates will be softer after the ME is running.

How are the 1/3 3/5 NL games that late into the WSOP? (In recent years; obv COVID is making everything different)

I’m confused by two day 1’s, does that mean day 2 on 10/29 (and maybe day 3 on 10/30)? Other multi day events it shows, these only says 1 day each.

Check that….see it’s a 5 day event. Yikes, may have to pass….cash games instead.

10/10-10/15 here. I didn't pick those dates. Those dates picked me. I have two weddings to attend in CA in consecutive weekends in October, and it just made sense to sandwich the WSOP between those dates. Staying downtown. Rio rates are crapola, especially with the resort fees tacked on. Really bad value compared to 2019 and 2018.

Will be playing the $1k NLHE on the 13th and possibly the $600 PLO on the 12th. I'd like to take more shots at bracelet events, but nothing else fits. Probably play the Nugget nightly on 10/10 and then sprinkle in some cash/Wynn/Aria/Venetia during open slots in the WSOP schedule.

Was definitely itching to play a lot of WSOP events, but my timeline just doesn't match up with the stuff that fits my budget. Can't be too disappointed. After having no live series at all in 2020, it will just be nice to be back in those rooms.

Scratch that. I lied. Switched up all my plans. Staying at the Rio now. Rates suck, but I found a pocket of not-too-terrible prices on the end of a weekend that coincides with some events that fit into my stakes/games wheelhouse.

New schedule:

10/31 - arrive, cash games, nightlies
11/1 - $600 WSOP NLHE
11/2 - $500 WSOP NLHE
11/3 - $1000 WSOP NLHE

I have no hotel booking for 11/3 because everything is extortionately expensive for that night, but my flight doesn't leave until 11/4 AM, so it could be an interesting evening. If I don't find something between now and then, it could be an all-night cash session and then hit McCarran in zombie mode.

For the colossus it says, payouts each flight. Does this mean if you make it to Day 2 you make money? I think this is new for this year.

It’s the Raiders home games weekends where those hotel prices are crazy. Booo

Events that say payout each flight are multi-flight events where money is made on Day 1. So they will pay out on each flight, then combine all remaining prize pool monies for Day 2 going forward.

Arriving 10/27, leaving 10/30. Playing on playing day 2 of Seniors. Flying SWA, so if I stumble into a run, will just reschedule flight. More likely, I'll be playing drunken $1/$2 back at Harrah's by the evening.

Staying at Harrah's, don't think I've stayed there before.

Harrah's is serviceable with a really great location for roaming the strip. Room is rough equivalent of like a Holiday Inn Express.

Sorry, I arrive on Monday and leave on Saturday. Friday's rate is closer to $100 or so, but the others are $40-$45. Resort fee is in addition, but I use the fitness center every day so I actually don't mind that fee so much. All in with tax looking at maybe $65-$70 a night? Still very reasonable based on what others have posted. I also am only lowly Platinum. I went through the WSOP hotel link to reserve.

Thanks! So I presume it will be a certain % of the players who qualify for the payout rather than just playing till a certain level, right? I think I have played one of these before and it has happened where players on one flight had to play a level more than the previous flight. But on day 2 they went back to the previous level.

Ack. Makes sense. Still annoying.

I'm grateful to have a real live WSOP this year, but also hoping it will be back in the summer for 2022.

Anyone have any best guesses as to which other poker rooms would have seniors events the week of the WSOP seniors tourny. I know in the past The Golden Nugget have had several $250 Senior tournaments that week and I think that Planet Hollywood had SRs tournies during their Phamous Goliath series , but it doesnt appear that either of those are currently running any tournies at all right now. THanks

Structure sheets not out, but I would bet a solid sum it will either be:

Each flight plays a pre-determined number of levels, or
Flight A plays down to X% of field, flight B plays same amount of levels

My bet would be on set number of levels.

Golden Nugget has announced there Grand Series a couple days ago. It is scheduled to end 10/20, but hopefully they extend that to hit the Senior Events.......such a great series historically it would be ashame to not have it the last couple weeks of the WSOP.

Southwest has a 50% sale until the end of Thursday June 18th. If you are going to fly in take advantage of cheaper airfare, and you can always cancel later for no fee.

$198 round trip from Tampa. Great deal, and I have $187 in travel credits so my $12 flight makes the $1200 hotel sting a bit less. Overall ~1200 for 10 nights including flight is not thaat bad I guess.

Booked at LINQ for Seniors Week Tue - Sun. Love the idea of Day 1A on Wednesday and then rather than playing "consolation" event at different casino if bust, can play day 1B on Thursday with fresh stack and fresh table. Should only slightly increase the number of people who advance to day 2 on Friday. Those who advance on day 1A can relax on Wednesday (or play 1 day event elsewhere). Nice. $100/day average rate for 5 nights at LINQ with WSOPM discount. Not terrible. See y'all there!@!

A lot of events that had 60-minute blinds in the past now have 40/60-minute blinds. Starting stacks are larger though which some people may prefer. I'd rather have shorter stacks and longer blinds myself but it's not that big a deal I guess.

Is this a misprint on WSOP's part? Day one of the Main Event having 7 levels means a 16 hour day? That's crazy.

7 X 2 = 14 hours
Still a long work day.
