There is ZERO chance of a recall of Gov. Sisolak at this point.

Coincidental, not convenient. Convenient implies it was intentional. Almost all 50 state's governors have shut down their states.
Most casinos opening this Thursday June 4th. There was 2 police officer involved shootings last night, but it appears the casinos will still open. Possibly some of the luxery shops might stay closed for a bit. If WSOP did run in late fall it would be a little while before that could be confirmed.
When I search Vegasmeansbusiness.com, it shows Oct 20-22 as the International Airport GSE Expo at the Rio, but other dates are open. No idea if there are smaller events that would occupy only a small portion of the venue. OTOH, if you extend your search of that site, it doesn't list WSOP at all for 2021, and I recall seeing an announcement that WSOP officials were planning on WSOP being at the Rio through at least 2021. So, I guess there's still hope for something, although the fields and atmosphere just won't be the same as
a summer series, when more recs are taking vacations.
