I wish they would move the Seniors away from Father's Day, but I guess it has been so successful in that slot, why mess with success, eh? I'm already negotiating over the family calendar . . . .

Wonder where else they could cram in more tables. It looked packed to me. Unless they do outdoor tents again.

I'm sure they will have the same broom closets available this summer for spillover tables.

I don't see where they would find extra space. they used all they could last year already. And I am not even talking about the chips. They had to use two different chip sets on the SAME day!

Ha, I'd forgotten about that. That looked pretty weird when you'd drag a pot and there were different looking chips of the same denomination. Can you imagine the PITA it was after the Series for employees to go through that mountain of chips and separate them out again?

Can I assume that for the Big50, there will be day 1's on the 28th, 29th and 30th? Or just 28th and 29th?

Day 1 on the 28th, 29th, 30th, 31st. Just look at the 2019 schedule it will be similar in 2020 for Big 50.

I think they should at least announce Full Details schedule of Big 50:
Here is why :

”With the complexity of overlapping day 1 , 2 and 3 of Big 50 tournaments, is it possible to publish full dates schedule of Big 50 . These will ease planning the trip for majority of 30000 budget conscious but very faithful WSOP players.“

So many players will only play the Big 50 for many different reason ( Budget, Amount of chips ( 50000) , time you play for $$ etc). And they want to figure out which flight they want to play so they can have multiple shot at maximum Day 1 flight. ( Due to overlapping of Day 1/2/3 )

yes exactly the full schedule for BIG50 asap would help out the biggest entry event especially punters that are travelling from other side of world so can book flights hotel etc

Yes but they have seperate day 2s so want to know when they are.

The schedule of day 2's and so on will track exactly as 2019, simply alter the calendar dates to coincide with 2020. since 2020 is a leap year, every date from 2019 will be exactly 2 calendar days later in 2020.

Logically you are correct sir. But I want WSOP to confirm so players can finalize their days, air tickets and hotels. Do you know based on day 2 start time you only can play maximum of 3 flights if you go deep . And if you choose the right day 1.

And one more point, if what you said is correct ( schedule same as last year) why not officially publish?

The article explained it pretty well. It's to gin up action. As anyone who's played in big bounty tournaments knows, it works. Even better if it's something like the old WPT Shooting Star, where many of the players got in via satellite. Their bounty was 2500 iirc, which lots of people gambled for considering they probably spent < 1k for satty entries.

The random schmuck prob won't be a "mystery" so you're only looking at a hundred bucks bounty. My guess is the mystery people will be recognizable pros. The big downside is the normal payouts will be much smaller with a million pulled out for bounties. I would avoid if I were a big name and had a reasonable chance to FT. My possible win is much smaller and any random schmoe with a bigger stack than me will be gunning for me.

Is there a location that has all the announced WSOP tournaments in a single list?

The article claims the bounties are randomly selected, I don't see a reason to doubt that.
