The Libertarian Party favors limited government involvement in most spheres of life, and not just laissez-faire economic policy. Libertarians believe in freedom in all aspects of life, which would include the freedom to play online poker if one so chooses.

Republicans very well may be responsible for the abolition of online poker, but I'm not aligning with Republicans, sir. Republicans are known as being positioned on the right, which is hypocritical because being on the right means less government and regulation. They may be on the right regarding economic decisions, but they are not right-aligned when it comes to dictating who can marry who, who can have an abortion, etc.

Well the regular WSOP is only open to Las Vegas Rio casino players. This is open to all of Nevada and all of NJ. Also you said "There will be NO live 2020 WSOP"

It wouldn't be open to me. I tried to get "certified" once when I was staying at the Gold Coast. Their software kept identifying me at being somewhere in California. I was on the phone with their tech support for over half an hour and we couldn't make it work.

Does WSOP.com often have $10K buy-in tourneys? I'm as terrified of $10K computer glitches as I am $10K bad beats. I'd never risk playing from a place near the border and triggering the location-verifier.

If you're not aware, Gold Coast is literally across the street from the Rio, where the WSOP is held. So, at least 40 miles from California.

As for 10k's online, it might be the first time, just so they can call it the Main Event. I might be wrong though, I haven't really played online since PokerStars.
