Huh. I thought fall was generally a slow season for travel in general, but have never thought of trying to go to Vegas during that time, so, I've never checked prices.

T-day week is one of the best of the year in Vegas.

SEMA convention the first week of Nov is gargantuan. Quite a few other conventions then because of the weather.

Room prices should be held down by the fact a lit of people aren't ready to travel. I am though, please run the series!

I still don't think it's posted anywhere. I wonder why they're waiting so long to release the schedule?

GGPoker Bracelet event schedules posted:
https://www.contents.ggnetwork-conte...op-2020-online
https://www.wsop.com/tournaments/schedule/?groupid=4805

2 Short Deck
2 LHE
9 PLO
$100 buyin phased bracelet event

The GG Poker Site will probably list out all the other "non-bracelet" tournaments in the future.
There's already info about the leaderboard too.

I will be much more comfortable and at ease with plexiglass and 6 ( maximum 7) players at the table during WSOP .
And for sure they have to adhere normal CDC and states regulations regarding COVID 19 social distances..

Is it true GGpoker events will only be available to non-US players, even if you reside in Las Vegas or New Jersey?

Is there a list of satellites (date and time) for ALL bracelet events? If not, how far in advance (hours and days) will they list it under the Satellite tab? There seems to be many more listed now then a few hours ago. Do they keep adding throughout the day?

All I know is this Summer online series better not be a total replacement for the WSOP. Only players from 2 states are allowed to enter the events, and of course, elsewhere around The World. Swear to God if there isn't a partial series in the Fall I'm gonna lose my marbles. Plus, I'll move even further right to the Libertarian Party.

Yea, I can't decide if I want to go through the hassle of visiting LV in July just to punt a couple online MTTs or save the money for fall or next year. I wish I could say I'm a confident that a November series is going to happen, but this pandemic is a slow moving beast with no end in sight, and live poker is a particularly bad fit for this new reality (sitting around trading chips with a bunch of random people from all over).

We're now 9+ years out from Black Friday and there's still no widely-available online poker in the "Land of the Free". What a joke that is. I'd be trying to qualify for every event on the schedule if I weren't excluded on the basis of location.

Please correct me if I’m wrong. But it is my uNderstanding that wsop.com New Jersey players will have access to stats and HUDs, and that wsop.com Nevada players will not.

Yet they will compete in the wsop online events together through wsop.com.

Is this correct ????

I can't find any info either.

I want to know when these 64 player max All-in satellites start registering as they are all filled expect for the $50 into the 3200 high roller.

No. HUDs are forbidden on WSOP in NV, NJ, and DE.

I'm not sure when they start, but they have more all in satelites under the Sit N' Go tab. Those ones run as soon they get 64 players and then a new one opens for registration.

I never understood why don't make all of them that way. Setting a specific time for them to start is kind of dumb. I always laugh when they run one for a smaller event and it gets cancelled because they only got 62 out of 64 players registered before the scheduled start time.

I think it's like 3-4 hours before. It's annoying, however, the schedule tends to be the same/similar each day, with the buy in amount changing based on the event.

Have they even hinted at the chances or schedule of a fall series? I really want to go but if they aren't doing it I will travel for a weekend of grinding online.

In a normal universe today would have been the 27 --> 9 day at the main event, which is usually one of the most dramatic days of the MTT year. It's a damn shame. F***in' Corona!

Reading through the old posts in this thread, this seems like the most astute and prescient take so far:

WSOP 2021 is in jeopardy too, unless they plan for late summer or fall. Even the 2021 summer olympics may not actually happen. This all may seem extreme, and it is, but not out of the question. This pandemic is unprecedented in modern times, but based on mathematical and scientific models these extreme fat tails are realistic.

The sobering reality most policy makers for business and politics don't want to discuss is that large scale gatherings such as live poker tournaments, concerts, sports (with fans in the house), conventions, theater, festivals etc. will not be completely safe from coronavirus until late summer 2021 or even fall 2021, after the virus has run it's natural course and a vaccine has been developed and made available to billions of people. This will likely take approx. 18 months or longer. This is scientific reality, beyond socio-political economic interests, and whatever somebody posts on YouTube .

Until there is a vaccine, and 60%+ herd immunity, one must be willing to risk getting the virus in order to gather in a large crowd. Some people will certainly be willing to take the risk. Others will not. Gov't and business will certainly open venues way before the scientific and medical community thinks it will be safe, because gov't and business will value gov't and business over human life. Same as it ever was (but higher stakes).

Personally, I won't be attending any events with large crowds until I see empirical evidence that it is relatively safe. I'm no guinea pig. Let the bold and fearless take the risks first. That will mean letting a few months of large events take place without significant outbreaks before going there myself.
We're already almost halfway through July and the situation is only amplifying in much of the USA, so I'd be betting against the hypothetical fall WSOP unless Caesars can come up with something very clever to make it possible.

I WANT it to happen, but barring warp speed vaccine release and distribution, it just seems like a logistical impossibility.

You seem to have forgotten that it was Republicans that banned online poker in Oct. 2006.
