wsop first timer here, hope someone could take a few minutes to answer some of my rookie questions.

1. Can someone please explain how online reg. works

2. How much prior to the event can you purchase the ticket

3. on the schedule I only see dates for day a,b,c,d, what about day 2,3 dates?

4. Is there any possibility that event solds out before June (I don’t want to buy an airline ticket now only to find out later that event is sold out)

Thanks for your answers!

I highly doubt it will be. That was just a promotion for the 50th anniversary

So you have to verified your credit card on site and there is no chance to pre-reg at home?

You can bank wire.

All these questions have been asked many times. Check last year's threads.

I did check it. So let me just check now if I got this right.

I have to purchase the ticket via bravo site then go to the rotunda to get my ID and credit card checked and then I can go to the fas track maschine to get my ticket?

Can I pay with debit card or cc is the only way to purchase?

Well I guess I didn’t get that right. So now, after carefully reading the online reg page, I think I got this thing down..

So first I have to sign up with Bravo

2. I have to register at Caesars Rewards Card®/Account

3. Choose the event and pay for it (I can use debit card as well )

4. Show up at the rotunda to get my identity and credit card verified

5. Enjoy the turnament..till second level when I go busto

Am I missing something or is this pretty much it?

Considering that Schedule will be same as last year.
The final day will be Friday June 5th (Day 5).

If I come there and wants to play maximum flights , I will play flights 1,2 and 4. (Unless I made it to day 2 earlier).

Ok, anniversary is the wrong choice of words. This year is the 51st WSOP, or 50th anniversary of the first WSOP. Last year was the 50th WSOP, hence the Big 50 rake free promotion.

Very unlikely. Most day 1s will sold out on the day (afternoon or evening) before.

I wouldn't risk it and buy in advance

Small fee for the piece of mind! That's probably worth it. I'm a NIT.

I'll be there this year and was undecided on whether to play Day 1C or Day 1D. I think that Day 1C will have fewer runners than Day 1D, but I'm thinking that most who bust out on Day 1C will likely re-enter on Day 1D. Day 1D will likely have the most runners, but with no more chances to re-enter.

Bottom line: I feel that Day 1C may have a smaller, but looser field, and Day 1D will have a larger field, but a little tighter field.

Thoughts?

Why worry about number of entries on a given day? They will all probably sell out and have alternates.

it doesn't matter. Both flights will sell out, with huge lines. Day 1D might have more entries (I think it was the case last year) but it is irrelevant. As for the field being loose or not, it is the same thing.

Is it the same style day wise as last year? Meaning day 3 was on Wednesday, you play you’re day 2 the following day after you’re day 1? Example, day 1 fri/ day 2 sat/ day 3 Wednesday

Still haven't seen the structure sheet for 2020 Big 50. Last year it ended on a Friday. The original announcement for this year says it ends on June 4th, which is a Thursday. What's up with that?

If you pre-register and pay with a credit card, you have to have your CC verified on site before you play your first event. After that, you can enter other events and either pre-reg or just register and pay with your CC and you don't have to verify it (for one year). Just the first time. Of course, the Big 50 is probably the first event people will play which means the requirement to verify your CC is particularly annoying for this event.

All the above being true last year. I don't know id anything will change for this year.

You can pre-reg at home by using a bank wire. Costs a little extra though.
