As long as you play the low end $125-$175 STTs, it is hard for me to believe this should ever be an issue.
The problem is, that you cannot multi-table live STTs.
The 'fast' structure, the low buy in, the ROI you realistically can reach, the time it takes to start an STT - after all players are seated - and the wait to get into a new STT when you bust, makes it barely worth for any decent players to grind these.
You will always be facing a mix of players with no understanding of ICM, and a few online STT grinders. IMO, ROIs in excess of 15% are not realistic.
Meaning, at $175 level, only on the best days will your hourly be above $25.
With the fast structure/high variance it should be quite possible to put a full week of play in and still find yourself in the red, even as a winning player.
Unless you are a mid/high limit pro, I suggest you think of WSOP STTs as a fun distraction, and a good way of getting used to handling the cards and practicing reads. Run hot or go back to cash games, before you start steaming.
