I checked their website and it says there is a 2.95% fee using a credit card... Does it mean that using a debit card is free? Is it even possible?
Also there is a 3$ fee for using the service.

==>Can someone explain what is the best way to register online and pay the minimum amount of fees?

Thanks.

I did online last for Colosus Tourny was $565 and the Bravo fee was $19 and change. There is no "best" way, the only way is through Bravo, the fee is basically to cover the cost of the service as with any service fee such as ticket master. If you want to stand in line, you will save the cost of the service fee, it is your only other option. As soon as they announce when online registation is avail they will provide details. Good luck.

You can do online reg and pay with a wire or cashiers check and only pay $3 fee not the 3%.

What’s the benefit of pre-registration? I did it for the first Colossus and that was a nightmare so I never did it again. Haven’t had any problems registering for any tournament. I don’t think they’ve had any tournaments where they turned people away for being too full. I guess someone can have peace of mind knowing they for sure have a seat no matter what but I honestly don’t see that as an issue based on my experiences. Maybe I’m wrong and some people were denied registration for a Saturday Colossus flight or something but I haven’t heard of that at all.

Not a huge benefit though it is useful for huge flights where you won’t be able to reg early. They have learned and streamlined the process from the first Colossus.

Also useful to not have to transport large sums of cash to Vegas. Also some people can out earn the fees by putting the entries on a credit card.

Ah, the large sums of cash issue was something I hadn’t considered.

I wouldn't pre-reg unless there was a chance of being shut out, which I guess has a small chance of happening for the Big 50. I'd just make time to register the night before for popular events.

Spot on! From my experience @wsop in 2018 it is the best way. If you come to register the day before at 10PM the lines are empty. On the day of, it is a nightmare.
I was staying at the Rio so it was easy.
This year, I'll be staying at the Gold Coast - fairly easy as well.

Using a card with a good rewards program OR using a new card with a good sign-up bonus MORE that offsets that $15.

You dont have to pre-reg with cc. You can wire money and my bank does that fee free.

How did you obtain this offer? I called and said I had an offer code (CI340578) but was told promotional offers are not transferable.

I was quoted a price of $126 per night including tax & resort fee for Jun 21 to Jul 5.

That sounds great -- the day before the Seniors bracelet event on Thursday, there will be a little warm-up event. And, no matter what week you are there, you have a chance to play a seniors event. Nice.

Pretttttay sure you will have no complaints on the week if you make any Day 4s.

BTW some structures up. Milly Maker looks good: http://www.wsop.com/pdfs/structuresh...1622_17287.pdf

Not to mention your chances of making a day 4 are very, very small.

Looks like the day 1s are longer now. 11 levels versus 10

They keep adding tantalizing events. Curious to see the structures on these Sunday $800 NLHE deepstack events and that $600 NLHE deepstack championship.

Exactly - since I was flying in early Tuesday night it for the Thursday Senior as my first event - it fits me like a glove. Sure the structural will be different and in theory if you would go REALLY deep it could make for a semi short night but that would only be the case if you were deep in the money so hardly a terrible result. More than that as a serious rec player it just helps to "settle in" and this is a perfect relatively low cost way of doing just that. It also (without knowing the other Casino schedules might fit well as a follow up for the 6/17 Super Senior on Monday. Sure we ALL might make day 3 of that one but then who cares about a $250 I will be content with another day 2 finish in either the Senior or Super Old fart events.

This is going to be very interesting in the long run. We haven’t seen structure sheets for all the other events that have had significant starting chip increases. But let’s just assume that the structures aren’t degraded significantly and each event is just scheduled to last 1-2 days more.

What will the net effect be on attendance? On the face of it, I know pros (or people who think they are) prefer the slowest structure possible because they believe (and have good reason to believe) that it gives them more time to apply their skill advantage. But obviously longer tournaments are less rec-friendly scheduling-wise, so longer tournaments might start drawing tougher fields... completely negating the time advantage aspect many players feel they have. Also, many pros rightly understand that their results in a small number of events will be driven more by luck than over the long run, so it behoves them to play more events, not fewer. Does making longer tournaments help that? I don’t think so.

There’s an equilibrium there somewhere which balances these competing factors and I’m not sure the new WSOP structures (to the degree we know or can assume what they are) is close to this equilibrium.

Huh? Tourneys aren’t going to be lasting days longer. Milly Maker is going to be same number of days, for example.

Well, not if you believe the WSOP's own predictions. What is interesting is the subtle change they made in how they advertise this year, at least for this event. In years past it was listed as a 5-day event, scheduled to end on day 4. In other words they treated each day 1 as a separate day. The event did end on day 4.

This year it's advertised as a 5-day event also, however it is being shown to end on day 5. So, they believe (and I have no reason to disagree with them), that this year's event will be one day longer than last year's. If they went by prior years' advertising methodology, it would be shown as a 6-day event. Was this just a simple oversight, or an attempt to make it seem like the event isn't longer? Who's to say?

Looking at the structure sheet here:

http://www.wsop.com/pdfs/structuresh...1622_17288.pdf

It appears they removed two early levels, but that certainly won't make up for a 3.33x increase in starting stacks. I suspect this event will rate well on plog's or others' structure analysis, but it will be a longer tournament.

The same can be seen in the DoubleStack Event a week later.

http://www.wsop.com/pdfs/structuresh...1622_17290.pdf

The WSOP expects this to be 1 day longer than last year.

Another interesting change in structure for the Milly-Maker...

Last year day 1 played down to 15% of the field with all returning players having min-cashed. Day 1A ended just before 11:00 pm and day 1B ended just before midnight.

This year day 1 is scheduled to play 11 levels and be done at about 11:15-11:30pm. So it would seem there will be significantly more players coming back for day 2 given the other structure changes and the bubble will be pushed back to some time on day 2.

For me it's just a matter of convenient. After I register online just walk into the RIO and scan my card in one of those kiosk and print the ticket out.

I did find this little nugget at the end of the press release of interest for Fill in play around the true events.

Like the bracelet events of 2019, the Daily Deepstacks will also utilize the big-blind ante this year. A new addition to the non-bracelet Deepstacks event schedule in a weekly $250 pot-limit Omaha event at 5:00 p.m. on Sundays and a weekly $250 Seniors (50+) no-limit hold’em, held at 9:00 a.m. each Wednesday throughout the series.

I like that $250 Wednesday senior warmup. A definite prep event for Thursdays senior. Sundays PLO is a likely buyin before heading home

The structures look much deeper this year. Using an adapted formula of the s-pts system, I get the below:
Milly Maker imprves from 126 pts to 153
Monster stack goes from 155 to 177
Colossus goes from 56 to 112 (!!!)
Big 50 is 126 pts.

If you want more details, I made a full post on my Instagram account: @tintin_poker

Some good comments in this thread about it being attractive (or not) for rec players.
My belief is that it is a good thing: despite the tournament lasting a day longer, most rec players want to start with a ton of chips and know they won't make it to the last day. They come to have fun and nourish a dream.

All things considered, I would say it is for the best and not as ambivalent as some regs are saying.
