If this becomes the "official" 2018 WSOP thread, here is fine. In previous years, people talk about anything WSOP related. I say go for it.

Sure I got many suggestion here last 2 year like Dr. Meh stated. Plan your dates and post here. Other players will start posting their experience.
I always like to stay at Rio (being a Senior , don't like to commute around).
R U TR member ? Check Rio for the offer.
Gold Coast is next door.
If you are staying for extended time check AirBnB or if you are comfortable you can share with other players . Many players rent place for extended stay.
Good Luck

Last Year when I went to WSOP I paid over $600 for Rio. Which was too
stiff for my budget. Then I took the TR Visa offer and automaticity upgraded to
Platinum status . In last 4/5 months just accepted some offer
use my TR Visa card for some purchases. And in November
reached to Diamond. Was thinking about joining Founders
Club for $395 . IMHO TR VisaCard worked fine

Sorry it is Founders Card. Research before u join .
https://founderscard.com/
If you don't want hassle to navigate from gold to platinum
to Diamond then it is worth it . Just keep it in mind
You can bargain with them ($295 to $395 for yearly membership)

Re: 2018 WSOP
Any idea why the Milly Maker is listed as a 6 day event this year? Isn't it usually 4 or 5?

It's counting both day 1s as days. Look at all the multi-flight events-the first day 1 is listed as being 1 day longer than the 2nd.

I know. But I still think it was 4 days last year counting day 1B as "day 1".
ie - if day 1B is Sunday June 10th, would it end on Wed June 13th or Thurs June 14th?

I wouldn't have mind even if they kept 65+
Last Year Super senior brought over 1700 players.
Will they bring over 2500 with 60+ age limit ?

You sold me Super Senior . I think it will be
a big tournament . I will love to play that .
Have to plan for Super Senior. Between 2500 to 3000
players will make 1st place $400k-$500k.

Re: 2018 WSOP
Every Year a well known poker player creates a WSOP
Calendar which you can D/L in to your calendar.
It is very helpful for me as I can access on my calendar
through my phone.
I have use this last year . If you like you can try it.
It is by Mr Geffrey Klein @gyndok (tweeter)

Re: 2018 WSOP
Hate how they put my favorite event the 1500 Dealer's Choice alongside the Collusus every year now. Can't get any mixed cash games going that time.
Collusus can suc a dic imo
