He says it’s an option but it’d be a huge undertaking. Doesn’t sound like they’re seriously considering it. However, I bet if they offer them a sweet deal since it’ll be a brand new venue and they want to get the word out, they might take it.

It sure would be nice to be in a new place with new chairs. Rio chairs are in dire need of rehabilitation.

I'm not sure what the WSOP stands to gain with such a move at this point. Are they looking to expand?

But I agree it would be nice... primarily because it will be on the strip (parking notwithstanding). I don't play as many events at the WSOP as I used to, but when there was a free shuttle, I always used to head over there half a dozen times or so just to watch or check out the scene. But now it costs about $20 to make the trip back and forth, so it certainly isn't worth it. Being on the strip would greatly increase the walk-up traffic. I'm sure the vendors and eateries would love that.
