if you're talking about main event satellites that's when most of them are

if you're talking about single table satellites after the main event I think there should still be a few but the numbers will be way down

Yeah, I’m specifically referring to the main event satellites. I checked the wsop website and the only satellites for it say sundays in May. I’ll be there from July 1st-14th. But I cant find any info on satellites in that time period.

I plan to be there during most of June, I do have some questions regarding Tier Credits, I am well aware of their bonuses ,, 500+125 , 1000+1000 etc etc , And i also noticed i was getting TC for the events I played , Including the dailys and 800 TC points for the main event,, the question is , does anyone know the formula of when the actual points actually hit your TC account , it would help as getting to the bonuses would be much easier once you know which day after the event , you get credited .

I appreciate the link. I couldn’t find that anywhere.

But the satellites listed that give a $10,000 dollar ticket don’t specifically mention the main event. Actually the main isn’t mentioned in all 39 pages. I’m guessing tournament credits can just be used on whatever tournament you want?

Yes, satellites pay out in $500 lammers that can be used for whatever tourney or combo of tourneys you want, with the caveat that you can't get change for a lammer (so you can't use a $500 to register for a $250 and get $250 back, but can use it to register for two $250s.)

Big fields, soft fields. Everyone taking a shot. I'd suggest the monster or the milly maker as those are the best ones if you only have 1 shot.

It usually takes a few days from experience. If you're at the break of making diamond, it will be delayed.

Then I'd see if I can play that $1k double stack event. If not, any $1,500 should be just as good, usually $300-$400k to first and a good mix of bad and good players alike.

Sorry if this has been asked. I will be in Vegas for work bit can sneak out at nights. I am looking at either a late reg for the $200 4pm or the 7pm $365. The 4pm says that it could get suspended if it goes late. How realistic of a risk is that. Also, how late do the $365s usually run?

That same language has been in the structure sheets for the Daily Deepstacks for years, and they have never suspended one and started back the next day, including several tourneys that lasted til 6-8am.

The 7pm I would plan on 4am +/-.

I had referenced the satellite structures previously but upon examination of the reference it doesn't state that the 575's on July 2 and 3 are at 10 AM and 4 PM on those days and give 10000 in lammers.

Somewhere in the main site under information it can be ferreted out.

Thanks! Work from 7:30 to 6:00, play poker from 7:00 to 4:00, then back to work at 7:30. I'm sure I can do it somehow.

Although knowing me the more likely scenario is I play just long enough to either bubble or make a pittance but still get a terrible nights sleep.

Any idea how many entries are usually in the nightly $365 and what 1st place is?

I pulled up some from last year on Hendon Mob randomly, and it looked like mainly 160-200 runners with a few more like 230, with 1st ranging from $11-18k on those.

I'm coming to town on 6/29 to play the giant. I've been to Vegas before and I used to play a good amount of poker around 2009-2010, but I'm pretty out of practice. This will be my first time at the WSOP. Anything I should know? Anything I should do to prepare?

What's the level of play like? I'm not exactly a beast at this point, but I have basic understanding of the game and was a winning micro stakes MTT player before BF. Is it a total donk show? Are people solid?

If you can register online do so. It is much easier than standing in line.

If you wait to register try to as soon as you arrive. The line can be 2+ hours long if you wait until closer to when the tournament starts.

Thanks. I did that. I also booked at the Gold Coast thanks to this thread.

Last time I was in Vegas I stayed at Circus Circus. I found the walk from there to the other casinos on the strip pretty easy, but the Rio was somewhat inconveniently located and I never made it there despite wanting to check it out. Looking forward to getting acquainted with it.

I agree. The 3% credit card fee is worth it to not stand in line for 1-2 (or more) hours.

Are WSOP satellite lamers traded easily and freely for cash among players at the Rio? What is the going rate usually?

Search threads from past years to see the arguments for yes and no.
