Just like previous years I will create a spreadsheet where all tournaments in Vegas from the upcoming summer are collected.

It's still early off course but the WSOP already gave away some information about the dates and some events.
The full WSOP schedule is announced to be released somewhere in January.
Once that is released all other pokerrooms will usuallly relesase their schedules shortly afterwards.


The inforamtion file includes all tournaments from the WSOP and major pokerrooms like Venetian, Aria, Wynn, PH, Bellagio, Binions, Golden Nugget and Orleans
I will include different tabs with rake comparison, general info about registration, startstack, daily tournaments,...

You can also download this sheet via File => Download As in Google docs.

If you want to calculate your buy-ins just put an 'x' next to the event you want to play and everything will be calculated at the bottom of the sheet.

Sheet days/dates in French - or something similarly different - for me?

Highlight the Date Column (A), right click, click format cells, pop up dialog box will let you change to English (US) or somewhere else that you might want.

Must be doing something wrong as I don't see the column headers just a DropBox heading and so can't highlight any columns. No big deal as it's still clear on the dates just looks off. Thanks.

First you have to download the file if you want to edit it.
I've changed the code for the date format so that once you download it it should appear in your own language.

Now the WSOP schedule is out you can expect that other rooms will work on theirs.
Iirc from the past Venetian,Golden Nugget and Binions are rather fast with releasing their schedules and I would expect them to be out maybe this month.

Last year, I was a bit let down from Venetian, GN, Binion (compare to previous years) but saw improvements on Wynn, Aria, PH series. Really hope decent tournament series from some of these guys aside from RIO~

Hi Kenny,

A hopefully simple request -

On the tab where you have the rake, can you note if a percentage is held for staff or if it is all purely rake? Just want to make sure it's apples to apples and not apples to apples plus an orange sometimes.

If all of them are standard, whether in or out, then maybe just a note on whether dealer gratuities are in or out of your calculation...

If this is more of a pain than it seems, I wouldn't sweat it. The spreadsheet still rocks.

FYI, these are 2014 schedule links. Hopefully, the 2015 schedules will be out sometime this month.

The rake is the total amount of money that is being withheld and goes not into the prize pool.
For detailed breakdown I suggest to consult the structure sheets.

Staff% are standard at the WSOP, starts at 3% for the lower buy-ins and drops a bit for bigger buy-ins.
Some tournaments also have some charity like little drop and highroller. That is also taken into account.
In the past some pokerrooms even had a % withheld for leaderboards.
