I too am a fan of FLO8 tournaments.

I believe there is only one tournament being held in June in the Northeast.

The Event Center is normally used only in September and January.

it's not called a double play on the structure sheet... always go by structure sheet the website can sometimes contain typographical errors. the structure sheet *usually* has more accurate information.

Pauly, obviously a lot of that is going to depend on runners. The 1 day events that go on for 20-22 hours are the tournaments that get 700+ entries.

I believe the structure sheet for event 1 says that the day 1's will end after 18 levels which isn't late with 30 and then 40 minute levels (probably around 9pm or a bit after).

For event #1 Day 1 is gonna end around 12:30 AM so a 13.5 hour day when you account for breaks and dinner.

is it too early to speculate how many players are expected for event 7... the deepest stack? my guess was around 250 is that accurate?

might be a bit optimistic. similar tournament last year had 167 entries. i'm playing that event though if i dont make day 2 of 100k

ok, unfortunately i don't remember a particular tournament with this many starting chips at such a low buy in, thats y i thought the field may be decently sized.

day 1 ends in Borgata usally around 1-1:30am but also depends on entrants. event 1 will end prob. around midnight to 1am or 12% of the field. due to day1a day1b have to cash together

Arrgh.. missed the online reservation deadline for event 1.

time to ask the stupid q: Should I be worried about not getting in (/shut out) if I can only show up around 12:30p for 1b?

I see from cardplayer that last years opening event was a $500+60 which got 679 players.

you are not taking into account that entries =/= unique players.

No shot of getting sold out. Just show up at noon and I bet you can walk right up.

And only need 857 for the guarantee. Or 750 if they dip into the rake to cover.
