Anyone know if there is a 2010 taj uspc scheduled?Sorry if this is obv avail info but I've been away for a while this year.

The 2 deepstacks last year where OK but otherwise this tournament has become a joke. I hope they can fix it.

Hopefully to draw in ppl they will.........lower main event buyin, reduce number of mixed games, try new game formats (deep stack nl turbo). Basically copy Borgata WPT. Sad to say but it is true.

yeah the taj sucks but its not like its the poker room managements fault. its not really their fault the poker room is old and run down. but yeah going off last year a couple of the deepstacks got over 200. with ac down a bit in general they probably dont even break 200 on those. i live far enough where it wont be worth going for. borgata will probably have some event around then which may or may not make it worthwhile to play one event. but 7 - 8 years ago i remember them getting 900 for an opening event.

I remember playing an prelim there when ESPN still aired the USPCS main. We had to start 11 handed cuz there were too many players. Last year they had to take starting tables away cuz there weren't enough.

Anyone ever see last year's FT on the air? Spike filmed it but I don't know what happened.

Poker room said tournament (Nov 1st - 24th?) was just released but it may take a day or two to get to website

spike TV said it may air oct 5th......the reason for the delay is that they wanted to promote this years 2010 uspc in the same show..so they wanted to air it as close to this years event....

USPC 2010 is scheduled for nov 1st to Nov 20th....

Well if the Taj makes as much effort advertising this year's USPC as they have in recent years it should massively suck and get a well earned rotten tournout. WTF to the Taj and their effort with their poker series??? Wake up Taj!

PLO H/L and limit holdem tournament?? Thats just sounds awful. The limit holdem section seems kinda pointless.

this whole series is kinda pointless...its poorly advertised, it overlaps NAPT LA, and most people on the east coast could care less...they lied about the TV coverage again, and there are still no guarantees on ANY of the events...i think its amazing the Taj still hosts this debacle of an event year after year when its become so irrelevant to the tourney circuit calendar in general...its a shame too because its nice variety of events and the structures are usually decent (esp the incredible ME structure), but the fact still remains: NO ONE CARES

I'm actually curious how the blinds are going to work. If LHE blinds aren't 2x PLO H/L blinds, I agree that LHE will be pointless....

I am thinking this was supposed to read PLO/PLHE...they have had these events in the past. If I recall 2 years ago I had to give the TD a quick primer on calculating pot. Then he asked if I would mind doing the same for a bunch of the dealers...15 minutes before the start of the tournament...ahh the Taj.

I'm bored so prolly will play a couple events before the circuit event at harrahs. Also, it's kinda nice to see a series with games other then holdem. I know the borgata does it all the time, but they are in another catagory.
