Gotta love the people bashing this tourney, the same that are all over complimenting the great job Borgata does. I have no problem with either place. Looking forward to this one this year. Hopefully PS promo's help out.

i agree...i hope this years uspc will exceed last years numbers....the main event structure is great....

the main event last year attracted over 150 players....i think this year the numbers maybe similar but i'm hoping they will get 200 for the main...this is a great way to make a tv tbl.....and yes to all the doubters out there it's going to be aired in november on spike tv...

Im heading down for the Friday/Sat of week one. Bank-roll wont let me play in the main right now, so gonna try real hard to cash in either, and take the profits to the main.
They should be about the same numbers as last year, especially cause the borg is running similar (slightly smaller) structured tournaments the same exact days. It will probably split the crowds in halves.

Borgata's will probably draw more because it's the Borgata and when it comes to tournaments there is a lot of player loyalty there...

All tourney levels (for all tourneys) have been increased 10 mins

Tourneys with:

30 min levels increased to 40

40 min levels increased to 50

50 min levels increased to 60

Did today play down to completion?

i was in event 1, deepstack ft today, not event 2. event 2 only got 90 something players, but I think they still stopped at 9 once they reached ft. theres a blog at the taj poker website

thinking on trying to satellite my way in to some events, anyone know how heavy the satellite action is so far? one tables,mtt?? are they crap shoots or is structure ok in one tables??

Does anyone know anything about the structure of the $55 satellites (Act I) to the $525 sattelites (Act II). Actually the structure to both would be nice. I want to try and satellite in to the main event.
