edit: oh, wait, the 24th is the day before thanksgiving... why not have it start on the 17th or 18th of november? the NAPT i think should be over by the 17th, and if you're still in the main event there you won't mind missing a 1.5k in tahoe. if you have it then, i'm also certain to play both your event an the venetian's.
Schedules are set. Maybe they can all ,move theirs? After all WE are the ones that are haveing a Million dollar Tournament of Champions.

Word 'em up!! I like that! It's the WSOP for crying out loud! Not the Heartland Poker Tour. They need to recognize!

Ok, I won't talk like that anymore.

Are there any guesses as to when the AC regional schedule (12/4-12/22) will be posted? Currently, it's still TBA.

I'm hoping to play some side events....specifically, a PLO8 event would be nice
But at a minimum, some non-NLHE side events that aren't HORSE would be nice!

Not sure Circuit is coming to Florida any more. Thought one of the new added stops (pending) would be South Florida. However, Seminoles signed recent deal with WPT, so they are out.

Isle in Pompano is super nice poker room, but can not accommodate large fields and do not have a hotel directly associated. Spoke with the mgmt there and they think these two factors will make it tough for them.

Hope I am wrong, as I would love for WSOPC to come to Florida. Just not sure where they would have the event...

Derby Lane in St. Petersburg has 50+ tables, huge parking area, and easily accessible right off the Gandy Bridge from Tampa. The room is less than two years old and is gorgeous. there are plently of hotels within a 3 mile radius also.

This

I also believe there are other rooms that would be great for it. Palm Beach Kennel Club is one with a lot of space and hotels near by. Orange Park Kennel Club would be good too, bc it would bring a lot more people from across state lines (not sure what their hotel or space situation is like though).

Anyone know when they will announce the WSOP Circuit Event schedule for Harrahs AC? What time did it come out last year? Hopefully it will be up soon and I can start a thread about it as soon as I know what the schedule is.

I think that a Circuit event in Durant Oklahoma at Choctaw Casino on January 6-25, Then a Tournament at Palm Beach Kennel Club on February 17 - March 1 would be a great Idea. Maybe its not a rumor?!! I would gamble and book a room.

Great news! Palm Beach Kennel Club just reported the busiest pari-mutuel poker room in all of Florida since July 1st by revenue reports.
It also holds some of the biggest cash games in Florida.

Add all that up with the fact that the area is incredibly beautiful and full of rich winter-bird fish, and this should make for one amazing time.

Jimmy, is this going to be a non WSOP circuit event in Palm Bch since it's not on a Harrah's property? Glad to see you are finally coming to Florida after many years of me attending your other events throughtout the country! Finally one closer to home!

The Choctaw in Durant, the Palm Beach and the IP in Biloxi will be WSOPC events if in fact not a rumor, they are not Harrahs properties but they do not have to be a Harrahs property only approved by them and the event will be run by a Harrahs employee or contracted employee such as Jimmy.

No longer just a rumor an added WSOP Circuit stop is on January 6-25 at Choctaw Casino in Durant Oklahoma. It has been confirmed by Jimmy Sommerfeld who will be the TD. An event schedule will be posted later.

I am new here to the forum and just returned from the WSOP Circuit in Council Bluffs. were I found a problem with the new WSOP Circuit, everything would be fine except they need to do Rings for every event a lot of people will not play the smaller events because no ring is awarded. they should a least have silver rings for the lower priced events Some people are even saying they will not play in the bigger events because they feel shafted on the smaller priced events. What do you think?

Oh yea Glad to see Amarillo Slim at Council Bluffs WSOP Circuit Event

Why don't they just open up a WSOP jewelry store so anybody that wants one can just buy their own?

The 4pm and 7pm tourneys with their lower buy-ins and fast structures are more of a "crap shoot" than the noon tourneys that have longer structures and more chips giving more time to play actually play poker and not so dependent on did I draw a lucky seat. Why dilute the prestige of earning a ring by giving one for "crap shoots"? And a lot of people don't play the smaller events because they are more of a "crap shoot" and not because a ring is not given. I play for money not a piece of jewelry but it would be nice to win one.

I know it's probably way too early to hound the TD's about this schedule. However, is it safe to assume that the first ring event will begin on the second day of the stop (Event #2), second beginning on the third day (Event #4)? Just trying to compare with the Rincon schedule.

And since these are two day events, will day 2 of the event be on the day immediately following day 1?

Just want to see if I'm figuring correctly since I have to book a room and make vacation requests within the next 30 days.

Thanks!

What a great answer. Since I haven't played in a circuit event before I figured I would ask.
