I am pretty sure there will be at least 1 more Circuit stop, and probably 2, that are not affiliated with Harrah's. Harrah's Interactive is working with these two properties to get them licensed. They would fit in the Time slot right before Tunica and right after Tunica, if they get approved.
I assume you're talking about Florida?

I like the changes made and think they will be very positive.

I am from the east coast and was wondering where exactly council bluffs is and what the best way to get there would be?

A circuit stop in Florida would be awesome

Council Bluffs Iowa, is located across the Missouri river from Omaha, Nebraska (where I was born and raised in), and in many ways, it's a suburb of Omaha, even though it's in Nebraska.

If you are looking for a place to stay outside of the 2 Harrahs properties there, you might check out the Ameristar, and if you are looking for a cheaper place, then this Days Inn here.

It's not a fancy place, but it's clean and a nice place to stay, plus Harrah's Shuttle at least the last time I was there, does stop there.

On a side note, the Harrahs shuttle also used to pick up and drop off (I don't know if they still do so, but you could call the Harrahs property and ask) at the Omaha Airport as well, which is where you would need to fly into.

Omaha is a nice city, and there can be a lot to do there, especially in the Old Market District of the city.

and here.

I've also played at the Horseshoe, and the games both live and tourney, can be quite juicy.

On another note, is there any hope of there being anything say like using the Charity Casino's here in Fort Wayne, Indiana for Satalites?

In case you've not heard of them (I had not either until I moved here a month ago), there are several of them located here, run by the local lodges, and while they don't have slot machines, they do have poker, blackjack, craps, and roulette.

Have you ever thought of running poker leagues to help someone win their seat? That is, where you pay x amount of money for x amount of weeks, and the one with the highest points overall, wins a seat to an regional event.

This as the HPT has had some success in doing just that, and I know one of the local charity casino Lodges here, that runs a poker room, just started doing so (indiana law allows a charity here to run a casino 3 days a week), and they've had a great turn out doing so.

This way the person wouldn't have to travel away from their local area in order to qualify for the seat, and you could perhaps use those to licence other casinos that are not Harrahs properties as well this way.

There's up to two more WSOP Circuit locations yet to be announced, that would create the 4 spots missing.

Harrahs now only allow 1 circuit stop per location otherwise Tunica would still have 2.
But they will allow a CIRCUIT event (not satellite) at a NON-HARRAHS property like IP Biloxi???

(Explained on prior page. Sorry.)

I feel like they should have online sattellites to these events the same way they have them for the wsop during the summer. Even if they cannot directly buy you in, a lot of the people that win the package will still use it on the wsopc rather than pocket the profit.

It is not in the best interests of Stars and FTP to promote the WSOP-C. They have no reason to as they are not affiliated and it does not affect their bottom line. They would rather promote their own branded series i.e. Empire State hold em, EPT, LAPT, FTP Espana series, or WPT in which FTP is a branded partner. On the other hand, the WSOP sattys (ME, bracelet race, etc etc) are a huge deal because it is WSOP....so FTP and Stars have to offer those sattys to remain on par w/ their competitors...while the 2 hour TV coverage for the 10k super regionals helps your argument, overall the WSOP-C will never be a priority for Stars or FTP as long as Harrahs is at the helm...

Valid points Vinny. I agree that lack of PS/FTP affiliation for the wsopc means the incentives for those sites are quite low. However, I am hoping that two factors can override this (one of which you mentioned already):

1. Player request. If enough of us ask for wsopc $10k sats and BryanPS or another PS-affiliated 2+2er notices the demand, I'm hopeful they will fulfill our request given the amt of rake created by high-stake sats for $12k packages.

2. TV coverage. If PS offers a package that in some way mirrors their WSOP package, they can give you x-amount of VPPs for you to wear their gear. Since this is a televised event, they surely will want to get their brand on TV. For example, imagine the advantage for either site (PS or FTP) if only one of them runs sats to these $10ks. If only PS runs these sats, they will get plenty of participants wearing PS gear w/almost none wearing FTP gear. This surely has to appeal to PS given that we're talking about televised events.

Wish they would let Tunica have 2 stops again, it made no sense to limit them to 1 stop since the number of players were still better than most of the other places . But casino management rarely uses good sense.

all of my wsopce schedules and structures are posted. I had plenty of time to gettem done. (on the 20 minute breaks at the wsop) Sorry I do not direct the other ones. The Poker Tournament Consultant structures I submitted are to be used at all venues. The schedule of events will be similar. Hope this helps somewhat.
