You mean thay have tourneys that start in 4 weeks and they don't have the structure. How can anyone make plans on attending, air, rooms etc. without knowing the structure?

I was hoping they would standardize the events list to include at least a couple non-holdem events at each stop. Guess since all the schedules are TBA at the moment thats not going to happen.

yeah same here. I'm sure they'll have a PLO event, limit O8, maybe a stud 8/b. I'm really hoping for an 8-game mix, but this probably won't be possible considering it's probably likely not all games are licensed at all locations.

The one event I'm REALLY hoping for is a heads-up event.

I think in this case, a handful will be two, which would bring up the total # of players for the freeroll up to 100.

Yea, you and me both, that or a 100 Max shoot out, I know tables are limited, but this is only ten. Heads up I would play also. Wanted to make the heads up in New orleans, but couldn't. I really hope they have some decent satellites to their 1500, they should still run 500$ megas to those. We'll see. I might have to get into the TD racket and show these folks how to do it

Like to play 10-20+ no limit cash, maybe a little PLO mix. Anyone know what kind of games run on the circuit frequently? I am going to try and make 3-4 stops, any advice would be awesome

Don't get why 1st in a main event gives you 100 points AND an automatic seat to the National Championship. Seems like the ME winner and points winner are gonna be the same person a ton w/ only 10-20 events and the ME worth 2 wins.

And taking it a step further ME/location point winners are gonna make up a lot of the top 36 overall point winners. So how is this going to work?

I'm really excited about this; I agree with ktw, the CEs were fading into more and more obscurity each year. This really gives them a chance to be revitalized for the next year or two, and hopefully even longer. Points system, freeroll, a wsop bracelet, standardized structures.....this is way more than I was expecting or even hoping for. A big WTG to all the people behind this revamp.

I sure hope the kickoff of the new tour in Council Bluffs sets the right tone by bringing in a ton of players. Also hope they get the schedule and structures posted pretty quickly. Tournaments start in 5 weeks

Your right it did need overhauling as the fields were dropping each year. Now if they use Jimmy's popular structure it will also help build the fields by giving more play time for your money.

Ok, I have waited patiently to be able to let the cat out of the bag. NOw, I can try to respond to all of your questions. I have worked very hard with Jack Effel, Seth Palansky, and Ty Stewart, to see that these changes were made. I will post the schedule of events for each of the Circuit stops that I will be the TD for. Council Bluffs, Lake Tahoe, IP Biloxi, St Louis, Tunica, and the regional Championship at Rincon. We will be using the PokerTournamentConsultants Structure sheets that we used in Tunica and St. Louis last year. The players spoke and I have tried my best to listen. I have tried to supply enough megas and supers to help create a Huge championship turnout. I was not happy with having the championship events at $1,500 at first. However, after thinking about how many more players can be involved and the fact that we now have the $10,000 Regional events, I am all for the $1,500 event. I believe the regional Championships will be very huge, considering they will be televised and there are only 4. I hope that most will accept the changes. The 1 million dollar National Championship that you will be able to qualify for will also be a WSOP BRACELET Event. Council Bluffs is only a few weeks away,I really would appreciate your support at this location. Structures and schedules to follow.

Thank you for listening to us and then working hard to get the changes implemented. Also you, Teresa and the girls are in my prayers for your lose. I saw this and thought it was fitting: God saw you getting tired & a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered "Come with me". With tearful eyes I watched you, and saw you pass away. Although I loved you dearly I could not make you stay. A strong heart stopped beating, hard working hands put to rest. God broke my heart to prove to me, he only takes the best.

2010-11 WSOP CIRCUIT TOUR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

MAY, 2011 – CAESARS PALACE, LAS VEGAS

100 WSOP CIRCUIT PLAYERS WILL QUALIFY TO COMPETE FOR WSOP BRACELET & $1 MILLION

OVERVIEW

The WSOP Circuit Event schedule in 2010-2011 will be a full-fledged national tour with stops throughout the U.S. and a Cumulative Player Point System that awards points for cashing in official gold ring events

The Top 100 qualifiers from the WSOP Circuit season will be awarded seats in the WSOP Circuit National Championship, to be held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas in May, 2011 and televised nationally.

The WSOP Circuit National Championship will award a WSOP Gold Bracelet, the first-time ever an official WSOP bracelet has been awarded outside the annual WSOP in Las Vegas, or the annual WSOP Europe in London.

In addition, the 100-player field that will make up the WSOP Circuit National Championship will be competing for a prize pool of $1 million, with the final 10 players receiving prize money.

No Limit Hold’em will be the game format for the WSOP Circuit National Championship and there will be no buy-in required for any of the 100 players who qualify.

All WSOP tournament rules will be enforced during the WSOP Circuit National Championship.

Players should ensure their Total Rewards card remains the same throughout the tour, because players will be tracked using their unique TR number. This will be the way tournament officials contact players to confirm participation as well. (Players must keep all contact and mailing information updated too).

QUALIFICATION DETAILS

There are 4 different ways to qualify for the 2010-11 WSOP Circuit National Championship. They are:

1. Win the $1,500 Main Event at any WSOP Circuit event. (1 per stop; 12 players total)
