Does anyone remember from years passed whether either of the events in Atlantic City, either the Harrah's or Caesar's WSOP-C's had any prelim events? How were the structures / buy-ins?
Tons, lots of $500s, couple $1000s, pretty good structures IIRC.
I don't think as of yet, that the WSOPCE has been out of the country (England is the WSOPE). Maybe if a bunch of you canuks campaign for it, they might consider going there next year.
There is "officially" just one stop in New Orleans this year in May, but there are two tournaments there every year now. The official circuit event is in May. The casino itself holds the Winter Bayou Classic in December. This year it from Dec.1 through Dec.10. You should check it out. I know for sure that it is going to happen, they asked me if I was available to deal. See you there!
Might make it back up to Council Bluffs again next year.
The tournies were good & the staff was fine too, but man there's nothing exciting whatsoever about that city. At least Omaha is nearby, but I felt like I was well below half the age of the average poker player there.
CB Iowa normally puts it up about a month beforehand.
The CB Iowa schedule is up now, but when I called about structures they told me they wouldn't be available live or online until the day of the tournament.
CB is about a 3 hr drive for me, I've never been before.
I'd really like to play one of their Saturday NLHE tournies on either 2/14 or 2/21
is the structure and side-action worth the 6 hours of driving?
