Apparently some guy contacted me on here, flew into town and landed around 6:30p, sold me 10k in lamers for $9800, then had a 10:55 flight out of town and was gone just like that... These types of services are valuable to people. Glad I could help

Actually, I did. It was my first-ever direct buy-in to a WSOP event (excluding winning must-play entries, due to 30% tax) and I cashed in the top 1%!

I would much rather satellites be must play and sngs creating general tickets that must be registered by the winner into a tourney of that buy in level

I would much rather the winners of satellite be allowed to do as they please with both their winnings and the prizepool itself. Why should a satellite be different from a tournament in this regard?

Then it's not a satellite, it's a sit n go.

Lammers remove all responsibility from the casino to report any winnings (because they are paying out items with no cash value) for winners. Take that as you will.

Also, selling lammers really isn't that hard if you don't mind waiting at the cage.

Why? How does it affect you one way or the other?

If you think everyone that currently plays STT's would be entering events, you're wrong. They simply would not be playing STT's.

And then those STT's would most likely be softer and actually get people to play events. See it clearly affects him.

What's the diff? The people that want to play STT's to enter bracelet events are already doing that.

Why would they be softer? It's not like the STT's right now are infested with Galfond type SNG masters.

Because it takes away the players that are grinding STT's for the money (who are most likely better than the average player at these). Isn't this obvious?

I used to grind $T on Pokerstars back on the day, would sell for 98-99% or whatever the going rate was.

If Harrah's/CET opened a booth that paid $490 cash for lammer's I'd go straight there every time I got one and just grind for lammers. For some people, it is easily worth $10-$20 to just have an easy exchange as opposed to hustling for an extra $10 (not to mention the time it takes to sell one that could otherwise be spent grinding/playing more), if others are buying in bulk there is no reason to expect them to pay full face, both sides are providing a service to the other.

It has no effect on the bracelet events, which is probably his main concern.

After I had cashed in my lone WSOP event & started playing the SNGs, a sponsored pro offered to buy my lammers for face value before paying cash for his event that day (and I later took him up on his kind offer). Needless to say, he had his own deep run in that exact event and made it to the Final Four! 8-)
