During those days there will be plenty of signage.

If you happen to be here early don't forget to get a Wynn Red Card. That is the longest part of the registration process.
Thanks, already have my red card, just want to make sure I know where to go. Last time I played in the Summer Classic (last summer) all of it was over in the old Wynn poker room, and can't remember where I registered. Appreciate the timely response. See you Saturday.

How late into the night do the one day NLHE tourneys go (e.g., $340, $550s)?

They've been a little unpredictable. For the most part, they end between 2-3 am.

However, the June 5th $550 went until almost 5 am as they played a long HU battle.

Is there a link to the 15% payout schedule for a few events like the $600 seniors?

Hi RedOak, the Seniors event is the only event that will have a 15% payout. I apologize but the payout structure isn't available online.

The min cash will be approximately 1.75% of the buy-in. Hope that helps.

Of course you mean 1.75X the buy in.

Hi Wynn rep,

Can you confirm you have been, and are still able to, issue new ITINs for UK players?

Thanks

Confirmed. We are currently issuing ITIN's for players from tax treaty countries.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that came out for the $1100 event last week/weekend. We ended up with 2320 players for a prizepool of just under $2.3 million.

It was the largest event in Wynn Classic history, and more than doubled the same event last year (albeit with a $500k gtd), which had a mere 1081 runners.

Hope to see everyone at the Championship Event July 4-8!

Congrats. Sure seems to be a lot of money in Vegas for these large field, mid-level buy-in events. Hopefully the trend will continue.

Can you tell us how many unique players there were in that event?

What kind of lines/waiting lists are you expecting?

I land that morning and may want to come over to reg day 1C immediately. Will I get seated immediately?

While there is never a guarantee, I would say that anyone arriving prior to 12:30 would be seated immediately.

For Day 1D last Saturday, we closed all cash games prior to the tournament starting, which gave us seating for 477 players. We hit alternates at roughly 1 pm.

I stand corrected. Apparently my time line was off. We actually reached alternates at approximately 12:15.

Hi akashenk, not ignoring you, I just don't have that info yet. Bravo reports are a little goofy, and require exporting and a lot of sorting to get to a unique entry number.

I will update when I have it. Any guesses?

No problem. And I have no idea. I'm just curious. Some of the other re-entry events throughout Vegas have shown an increase in overall entries but a dip in uniques. Of course, just knowing the uniques won't show anything, but it will be interesting anyhow.

Played the seniors and a couple of the 1-day $400 buyin events at the Wynn, really like everything. Well run, good structures, right timing as far as I'm concerned with respect to event length and so on.

But please let's not do the 40 minute dinner break. It is just not enough time to go somewhere and eat, and way too much time if you're not going to go somewhere to eat. Please make it an hour or 90 minutes, or eliminate it entirely (hungry players are already able to order food delivered to the table).

Thanks for some great events!

I agree 100% and would lean towards the no dinner break option, particularly since food can be ordered at the table. Ending the day a little early, or getting closer to the money on day one is never a bad thing.

Thanks for the support Greg. I see your point about. These daily's are running anywhere from 2 am to 5 am, so extending dinner to give adequate time for a sit down would be tough. We will look at it for the next Classic.

I agree, it would certainly be nice to end 25-30 minutes earlier and give the players a chance for some extra sleep before their next event.

While I agree with Greg's other comments, I disagree regarding the 40 mins dinner break. I've played over the past 2 summers with 40 mins dinner breaks and I always go get a proper dinner at a restaurant within this time allotment (last year, when it was in The Wynn, I went to Allegro Bar or Red8 a lot; this year Wazuzu or Jardin Bar are feasible options).

Personally I hate the food service at the tables because it comes with plastic plates / cutlery and no proper tables to eat it at (unlike, say, Playground Poker Club in Montreal where eating at the table is a pleasure).

So, please, don't cut the dinner breaks; they're fine just the way they are, thanks.

I count 29 non NLH events in 2003 and 37 last year and nothing 5k

multiple non NLHE with less than 5k buyin and higher first place prizes higher than the largest in '03 as well

so no, atleast not at the WSOP

Also a good point. Jardin has been put on notice and has been seating poker players immediately and placing the orders at the front of the queue. Everyone on Fri/Sat was able to get in and out in time as far as I know.
