Question about traveling international (Brazil) for poker

I'm considering a trip to Brazil for a WSOPC event, and wanted to know the best way for handling currency.
Brazil has their own currency, and I imagine I'll be needing the equivalent of $10-$20k or even more for this trip. What would be the best way to obtain foreign currency, and have it exchanged back to USD and into my bank before I leave this country?
I would not want to return to the states with the equivalent of $20k cash in foreign currency.. I also feel like I shouldn't have too much cash on my person in a country as dangerous as Brazil.
I understand some venues will allow you to wire money into the casino.
A) do these casinos usually wire money back to the states into my bank account?
B) the wsopc brazil is being held in a "pavilion" (Bienal Pavilion) so I am unsure if they accommodate wire transfers (or even have safe boxes for that matter).
I wasn't able to find this information on the pavilion's website.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I'm an MTT fish

Hey! Brazilian who lives in the U.S. here (just stating my credibility).
First of all, we don't have any casinos in Brazil. Only poker rooms. Most of our major tournaments are held in hotels and conference rooms. Most likely, if you ask, they will wire transfer the money to you.
If not, I can help you connect with some of Brazil's most prominent players who would be able to exchange you the cash for money on poker softwares, neteller, paypal, etc.
Also, if you are American don't forget you need a visa to enter Brazil. Shouldn't be hard to get, but just do it fairly soon.
