Maybe ten years ago or so (whenever that crap movie came out), I permitted my then-girlfriend to choose the movie we went to see on her birthday. I guess you figured out that it was
Down With Love.
Now, one thing you forgot to mention is that it is a MUSICAL, and it is supposed to be all snarky and clever, right? Holy crap.
The entire time I was in that movie theater, I was tangibly angry, and I could not make it stop. Put as plainly as possible, I would rather we had been there to see a Harry Potter film or even a Tyler Perry movie.
