I'll start. Canaliculus/canaliculi
It's an anatomical term that describes a small passageway.
I also love specificity.

I think "funk" is a perfect word to describe that musical style.

I like ambidextrous and cacophony. It's cool that cacophony sounds so cool.

I like long German words like Weltanschauung and Weltschmerz.

Sometimes I love the sound of names or words.

Manu Tuiasosopo

Linesman that played for the Seahawks back in the 80s. Loved the sound when announcers said his name. Not sure why?

Also Serendipity. More for the sound than the meaning.

Abalone. It's the first bingo I ever found on a Scrabble board. Take a closer look at my username (it's an alphagram).

Doofus is another favorite of mine. I use it a lot at the poker tables, because it just feels so good to say. "Nimrod" is also a fun word.

Plumage.

Every time I hear it I think of the Monte Python Parrot sketch and can't stop laughing.

Thanks, Merek, for reminding me of Mosi Tatupu, Lester Archambeau, and, of course, Algernon Darius Crumpler.

Fav football name is def Chris Weinke.

Fun fact: he didn't enroll in college until age 26, and won the Heisman at 28.

Of course you can lick my lass. She doesn't mind as long as I can join.

In all seriousness, I love the word portmanteau and I'm not sure why.

I have a theory about names . . . but I won't repeat it. Let me offer one Sidney Moncrief, who sported a name best suited for an Oscar Wilde character, but, instead, was a mere NBA basketball player.

And, of course, Van Lingle Mungo, perhaps the meanest baseball player of all time, including Tyrus Cobb.

I like the word "petrichor."
