it's disgusting ostentation. Bruno Mars? lmao

He probably doesn't warrant a footnote in an 8-volume anthology on the last 100 years of music.

I've said it before, but Mars' "Uptown Funk" has to be the least funky song with the word "funk" it ever recorded.

One of the most under-appreciated bands of all time imo.

Sorry if I have posted this before but two opinions
Overrated Zed Zeppelin, pompous and overloud, please stop shouting at me.
Underrated Richard Hawley, delicate musical sensibility, superb voice and an understanding of the fragility and stupidity of life.

How can anyone not get Little Feat?

I don't get it.

One of my favourite songs is Led Zed pure pomp. They break America, touring on their ridiculous jumbo jet, The Starship (it has a fire place and mini grand piano!). Sell out Madison Square Gardens and, instead of playing their well known singles they were famous for - hard, fast rock, like Black Dog, Whole Lotta Love, etc, they played the little known No Quarter, a long 'prog-rock' song from the end of Houses of the Holy, which they decide to double in length with mad solos.

I really don’t dislike Led Zep, it is just that their music bounces off me without having any impact.

Little Feat is in the Grateful Dead category of music for me. I guess there's something there, but it's just not for me.

I've always like Zep though not as much as the more hard core prog rock bands from that era - Yes, ELP, Tull etc.

Being an opinionated jackass is a good thing, I am very good at it.

I have heard somewhere that this was Mick Jagger's favourite band.

Princes solo at the George Harrison concert is correctly regarded as one of the greatest moments in music history, but how Jeff handled the singing still keeps me awake wondering how in hell can someone do that

I think that the Hollies belong in the underrated class, they made three of the best songs in the history of music (The air that I breathe, He ain’t heavy he’s my brother, and long cool woman in a black dress)

Although obviously world famous I think that Blondie are underrated, they covered punk, pop, disco and rap whilst adding a touch of New York sass.
Maybe an urban myth but apparently the cop car on the cover of “Plastic Letters “ was “borrowed” for the occasion.

Also when I was 15 I promised Debbie that I would always be true to her.
