I don't do big concerts. You'll find me in a local dive bar, or if I feel frisky, at some concert venue that holds 1,000 people max.
Last concert I "saw" was Taylor Swift. I was working the stands selling candy and iced tea. It was at the Rose Bowl. Tickets were $100 for the top row, $90 parking, and $15 beers.
The worse was the air moves and causes the music to not really reach you at all.
Yesterday at Newport Folk Festival included Sheryl Crow, Kacey Musgraves, Warren Haynes, Cedric Burnside, The Highwaywomen, and Phil Lesh, among others. Jason Isbell and James Taylor also joined in.
Those are all super cool! For my area Lynyrd Skynyrd is not coming until the end of September, going to be very good! Got an excellent seat. Spotify notified me that Elton John is coming, I thought he was done. I love him too!
I just saw Gwen Stefani in Vegas. Went with my gals. No doubt, it was worthy.
I saw her ex Gavin with Santana a few years back with her ex Gavin Rossdale doing a couple of tunes. That was exceptional. Carlos played tribute to George Harrison that night because Olivia Harrison was in the audience.
