Production of Season 2 is in the process : https://variety.com/2016/digital/new...ix-1201817364/

I honestly cannot remember what I thought of Steven Avery innocence (or lack of) after watching Season 1, as stuff that I read afterwards also influenced my train of thought...

Very good documentary despite the length, it was good to see that there was also quite some footage and interviews with the south/north Vietnamese and Vietcong as part of this.
I listened to an audiobook version of this and one of the best aspects of it was the interviews with North Vietnamese soldiers. It's a side of the war I really haven't seen presented in other media.

The biggest problem that seems to cause most problems in the world seems to be that we don't try to understand the perspective of others, mostly because we are put in situations where it's impossible to do so. It's very tough to find any solution for this problem, a problem that right now is still causing massive issues everywhere in the world.
Ken Burns did one about the Prohibition too thats really good, I was astonished at some of the stuff that was happening during that era, sometimes hilarious stuff like this:

I wouldn't say guilty, but I remember seeing several things which made it seem like the documentary was strongly skewed towards painting him as being innocent. In particular there was a witness (maybe 2) who seemed key to the story and they were not mentioned at all until they were shown on the stand. I found it really strange that this would be omitted.

It's a Scottish sitcom it's hilarious, like Rexx I rewatch it every 18 months or so Chewin' the fat is the same guys who do Still Game but it's a comedy sketch show instead from 1999-2001 I think lol

I can’t recall that specifically. The doc was clearly biased towards presenting an innocent man... and I was pretty convinced.

Reading Steven Bochco's memoir, and it's entertaining...but poorly written - odd to say about the writer and creator of Hill Street Blues and LA Law....plus, he comes off as a bit douchey.

I'm watching The Pacific now. Saw the first two episodes. It's alright. I remember Band of Brothers being better but I saw that years ago.

Is 'that 70s show' worth watching? Just saw it's on netflix and I know it's a comedy with Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, is it any good?

Back then it was ok, I guess. I would never watch it now.

I hear Married with Children is doing a reboot tho. I will watch that, as long as they don't make it politically correct. lol

Not sure what possessed me to start Insatiable but I didn’t even finish the first episode. If someone else powers through, lmk.

Most of it is pretty wretched, incredibly formulaic. The couple that made it had made 3rd Rock From the Sun earlier, that's a much better show, infinitely better.

Tried it last night. Pushed to make it thru the 1st thinking something in the 2nd would change, and quickly shut it off a couple minutes into the 2nd.

I’ve never really been into reading reviews of tv shows but after giving up, the first review I read for Insatiable called it “the worst Netflix original ever.”

the pacific is ok, certainly worth watching, but its not in the same galaxy as BoB.
BoB is the greatest thing that has ever been made for television.

I really liked both the Pacific and BoB. I really like watching, reading about and studying the pacific theater of WWII. The 2 main books the Pacific was based on were both outstanding (Helmut for my Pillow - Leckie and With the Old Breed - Sledge). With the Old Breed by Sledge is one off the most interesting and engaging WWII memoirs I have ever read and I can't imagine anyone not being completely engrossed by it.
