I am still utterly amazed that Legion is a Marvels production

Don't watch, it is horrible. I record it, and then watch later.
When the show timer displays that I'm 27 minutes in, I find myself saying, "damn I can't believe that I'm not even half-way thru". Got too much time invested to quit, but hope it ends soooon...

New season of Handmaid’s Tale out - I’m a sucker for dystopian fare but this was my favorite thing I watched last year.

Hot Girls Wanted https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4382552/
A sometimes shocking but mostly just a depressing look at how easy it is for young teenage girls to enter the porn industry.

Happy! http://www.syfy.com/happy
A 10 year old girl is kidnapped by a psycho Santa Clause so she sends her imaginary
friend Happy, who happens to be a flying blue unicorn, to find her deadbeat, ex-hero cop father, to get him to help rescue her.
Excellent performance from Christopher Meloni as the ****ed-up father in this weird, wacky and over the top black comedy.
I had to binge through this show, once I started I couldn't stop.
Best show SyFy has produced imo.

Loved every bit of Godless season 1 but the ending.
Spoiler:
It had done a lot more this far to have such plain ending. and i am not even talking about a built up character like Whitey dying first, which i thought was acceptable, i guess i expected more from Roy in the end, less drama and more cool moments that there were plenty of throughout the story.
Its like they lost whatever they had going to make it elite right before the end. 9/10.

I am currently curled up on the couch with a hot toddy watching the Kenneth Lonergan adaptation of E.M. Forstors' Howard's End. It's 4-parts and instantly engaging from the very first minute.

Haley Atwell, Angus Macfayden, Julia Ormond, and Philippa Coulthard.

I don't why I love this story so much, but I adore the book, love the early 90's film, and I'm enchanted by this series. It's on Starz, in case you were wondering.

Just spectacular.

Finished the latest season of Better Call Saul. Love it. We blew through it in no time. MOAR!

Started Lost In Space. I'm up to episode 4. It isn't really doing much for me. It's not horrible but it just isn't grabbing me. I'm trying to give it a chance.

It made me think about how many series use gratuitous flashbacks. Some seem to work better than others. Better Call Saul and Handmaid's Tale seem fine because the overall show is pretty solid and they don't really detract. But with Lost In Space it seems they rely on them too heavily and they don't add much.

I was ready to give up after a few eps of Lost In Space, I forced myself to see it through but it was a real grind.

Yeah, this is annoying me too. No one cares about the Robinson Family when they aren't out being lost in space. I'm probably not going to make it to episode 4.

I've just finished The Mechanism on Netflix, which is a Brazilian show from Narcos' creator Jose Padilha. It's loosely based on a real-life investigation into money laundering in Brazil. Good stuff if you like foreign cop procedurals, in some ways it reminds me of The Wire.

The Frankenstein Chronicles https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4206804/

Science crosses paths with the supernatural in squalid 19th century London.
Sean Bean puts in a great performance as a detective investigating a string of
murders commited by a scientist attempting to re-animate the dead.
I enjoyed this a lot more than I expected to.

Are there any giant talking carrots in this version?

Nope, but it could have improved it if there were.

On episode 3 of Lost in Space so far.

They've gone Battlestar Galactica reboot too much.

Very disappointed Parker isn't a camp, overblown villainess. She'd be great at that.

Cobra Kai on youtube red is the most entertaining show I have watched in a long time. Some of the karate stuff is cheesy, but the rest is great. They did a great job of mixing the call backs from the original into this. They found balance. First two episodes are free then you can use the free trial for the rest. The first episode is the worst, imo.

If you guys aren't watching Barry and The Terror, you're missing out. (those are two separate shows, but what a great title that would be!)

I'm watching Barry, and I love it. Henry Winkler is great in it. Loved the scene with him wooing the detective. Bill Hader is a revelation for me as well.

Barry started off slow for me but it has gotten better every episode. The most recent episode was the best yet. I agree with everyones comments about the show. Winkler, the detective, Hader, the chechens, Fuchs, and Taylor are all great characters.
