^New season of Curb Your...is pretty pretty good so far.

BBC comedy This Country is also nice, I've only seen the first three episodes

I've started watching Workaholics again, I really like almost everything about it but can't stand Adam Devine...

Fsociety

Worms. Malware. Trojans. A myriad of bugs crawling underneath the surface, underlining your every move ; itching, nabbing, biting at the pores!!!

In a realm where accessibility and facility preceded any attempts at security, the users were always going to end up exposed, vulnerable and a victim for the taking on a f***ing stake.

Our democracy has been hacked

Are you a 1 or a 0? I ask again : are you a 1 or a 0?

Life is not that binary

Season 3 is back with a vengeance. Instilling that creepy tone. Surreal atmosphere. A dark dreamlike spectrum. A binary-shizo-modern-shyt-land-of-Trumpist-reality.

Fun Society. F*** Society. F***ing Frack Society. And F*** those creepy crawlers that want to sneak in, infiltrate us, install a backdoor into our system, an open, infected breach. F*** them. Mr. Robot is back Fsociety

Mindhunter was good not great. It has some real positives that could push it into greatness in the next few seasons though. One of the better new shows I watched in awhile.

Looking forward to Stranger Things S2 after a really good S1.

Finally finished the Vietnam documentary. Just great. I think it lulled just a little during episodes 8 and 9 but 10 reaches out and grabs you by the heart. If it doesn't make you cry, you aren't human.

As an aside, I visited the Vietnam Memorial about 30 years ago. I don't know how to explain this, but something came over me when I stood in front of it. Like it has some sort of life force. It was something I'll never forget.

Fire Chasers http://www.imdb.com/title/tt7293754/

Netflix Original documentary series following the men and women who fight the Californian wildfires, including a group of inmates from the California corrections system.

Interesting and sometimes gripping series with some great camera work.

We started a couple series.

Stranger Things First, a couple of minor complaints. Winona Ryder sucks. Her over the top acting is a huge distraction. Fortunately there are a lot of other things going on so she's not on screen all of the time. Another minor quibble is I'm not a fan of kids being the central focus. They seem to be written as if they are adults and I just have trouble buying into it. The toothless kid is awesome, though. On to the good. It is lots of fun. They toss in just enough mystery to keep it interesting, but not too much (like Lost). I think it has potential to be either really good or really disappointing. So far so good, though.

The Crown Top notch historical drama about the early days of Queen Elizabeth (the one we have now). Superb writing and superb acting. Lithgow is phenomenal as Churchill. One of the better series I've seen.

Agree with this. Stranger Things was enjoyable but overhyped. Winona was terrible as are most of the supporting actors (there is one guy with glasses who plays one of the cops who is just cringe-worthy bad). The kids are better esp. Dustin and Eleven, but the black kid is awful. The fact that it won awards specifically for acting has got to be some sort of elaborate troll.

Still fun if you just enjoy it for the silliness and the 80s nostalgia.

I wrote pretty much the same thing as you two after I saw it. It was fun but nothing amazing and the acting...

So many people were saying "You don't get it it's supposed to be bad acting because 80s so that makes it good acting!!!!"

K?

You should check out Extras http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0445114/

Just as good and peppered with big names from tv and cinema.

Just finished watching all 4 seasons of 'Vikings' on Netflix (and elsewhere as, Netflix is missing the last 10 episodes). Really enjoyed it and would highly recommend. I believe season 5 isn't far away from being aired so, am looking forward to continuing to watch this as more episodes become available.

In the meantime am going to turn my attention to season 1 of 'The Punisher' on Netflix. Remember the movie we'll so, am interested to see how it stacks up after having been turned into a TV series. From what i've seen of the trailers, it looks quite good.

I got all excited thinking I had somehow missed Vikings being on Netflix, then checked and sure enough it still is not. You must not be in the USA.

Correct, i'm in another country. So by that, i'm guessing Netflix isn't the same for everyone then?! Obviously when things are added and available to watch at any given time is determined by where you live?!

'The Punisher' season 1 that I mentioned earlier was only added to my Netflix in the last couple of days. I wonder if others had it available sooner and have already seen it...

Hated Stranger Things after one episode last year. Still intend on finishing it, if for no other reason than to be smug about other people liking bad art.

Really like the first two episodes of Neo Yokio, also a Netflix original, co-created by Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend (a band). It looks like an anime and feels in some ways like the best possible version of an '80s-'90s Saturday morning cartoon. Similar sensibilities, conflicts, teenagers, magic, mecha robots, etc. It throws together a lot of common anime tropes, but is aware that it's doing so, and the effect is more like parody. Also the blend of so many disparate elements elevates it to an absurdist level.

Lot of famous voice actors, some of whom you probably find insufferable. The show is aware of this too, and it works.

Watching Mr Robot is such a up a down this season they have a great episode then a episode like today's which is Meh at best, love this show as well. Maybe a 40 minute Intro would be a good idea they are the best part of the episodes.
