Yes, Graham Norton is very funny. It always tickles me when the Yank guests are kind of shocked at his 'chair' stories

Anyone else watching The Walking Dead? Season 3 is pretty dramatic and action-packed, really digging it.

I love it! Hooray for Carl no longer being dead weight! Only thing I hate hate hate is that some of the drama at times from characters keeping information from each other that it makes zero sense for them not to have disclosed.

Otherwise, seems like they fixed some of the problems plaguing season 2. Each episode has been edge of your seat action. This season especially has been a pleasure seeing how they diverge from the comic books. I was worried they were going to take the governor to as dark a place as they did in the comics. In some ways, they held back. In others he's even worse.

I like Michonne. She gets flack for being less emotive than Darth Vader, but I think that's part of what makes her so badass.

Inb4 Dom's contrariness.

To me, season 3 crushes season 2 solely because of the lack of dialog. Most people on here hated the Woodbury stuff, but I actually thought it added interesting texture to the show. The less people talk, the better the show does, in my opinion.

Keepers
The Mindy Project
The Neighbors
Vegas

On the fence
Ben and Kate
Nashville
Elementary
Go On

Everything else already dropped. The 2 shows I was most looking forward to (Revolution and Last Resort) actually turned out to be 2 of the most ridiculously bad shows I have ever seen.

The new season of Homeland has in my opinion elevated it to the best current TV show eclipsing Madmen. This show is the perfect thrill ride and exceptionally entertaining.
Did you ever update this?

Of your list, keepers for me are:

The Mindy Project
The Neighbors
Go On
Elementary
Vegas (3 episode behind, though, so it's not keeping my interest much)

I think Elementary is easily the best new network drama, and it's not close. Revolution is a little better than when you checked out on it, but has literally one of the slowest moving plots in TV history (they had 4 set up episodes in a row to the mid-season finale, which also almost qualified as a purely set up episode...lol). Last Resort is confirmed terrible. I never tried Nashville (hate country music), and I checked out on Ben and Kate after episode 2. It was just not my thing.

Yes, Justified is amazing.

And I can't understand how my learned colleagues in the Lounge actually think The Walking Dead is a good show. It's laughably, historically inept story-telling.

That being said, I am strangely entertained by it.

Watching Hellen Mirren and Emily Blunt on Graham Norton.

I can't think of two more perfect women. How lovely and charming.

8 out of 10 cats on channel 4 in the UK may very well be the best topical panel show ever.

Many weeks ago I posted in the Walking Dead thread, that it had surpassed Homeland on their current seasons. I got flamed for it, but I think I've been vindicated. WD has inched higher, and homeland has taken a giant fall.

Come on. You can't be serious. I can understand if you think WD is more entertaining than Homeland. I wouldn't agree, but I would understand.

But from a pure quality standpoint, TWD is simply trying to be the Applebee's of zombie shows, while homeland is trying to be an interesting, unique new bistro.

Literally NOTHING makes sense in TWD. Story, character motivation, nothing. It's become a laughingstock on the web - not just on 2+2.

I lost interest in The Walking Dead after 4-5 episodes of the 1st season.

It's 1 of the most over rated POS TV shows ever. Other than the OMGzombies that seems to give a lot of people wet dreams I really don't see the fascination in the show.

Michael Rooker is the only good thing about that show.

One of these shows is just pure fantasy. The other is based on a comic book.

Still watching The Graham Norton Show every day on BBCAmerica. So damn funny and enjoyable. Adele was on this morning, and she is so ridiculously charming, profane and funny. I think I'm in love. I'm also being introduced to several British comics I've never heard of before who are just brilliant.

Love this show.

And I think we Brits have 2 things left we're really good at: Comedy (taking the piss out of ourselves and everyone else is like mother's milk to us), and music.

And sometimes sport.

Dom, I've seen a few episodes, but I enjoy many BBC shows, but the best have been Dr. Who and MI-5. But Ashes to Ashes is quite good, too.
