Same. I watched the recap and realised I had completely forgotten the entire last season. I know I probably should do a rewatch, but I really can't be bothered.

Another thing that bugs me is this trend of splitting up the final season into 2 parts. Is it even really a single season if they split it up like that?

Watched the first 2 eps of The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, and I would barely even know this was supposed to be a satire if it wasn't for the title. It's not funny or interesting, it's just bad.

it doesn't get any better and I don't see any way it was a satire it was just a bad imitation.

Cool, thanks. Was on the fence whether or not to continue, but I'll just bin it.

Just finished bingeing Reacher on Amazon Prime. I thought it was tremendous. Unbelievable, over the top action but very entertaining.

Heels - I watched wrestling growing up, and I thought this was a great watch.

Dr. Death - A bit whacky and ridiculous to be honest, but still a decent enough watch.

Currently two episodes into Yellowjackets and I think it is great.

I finally gave in and started watching Ozark. It's about what I thought it was. I can see why it's done fairly well, and it's got a strong cast, but I probably won't finish season 1.

Oh yeah, and as a native Ozarker it was profoundly offensive and just plain wrong about a lot of very basic things, but I factored those out. It's just not top-notch tv. Justified handled the rural thing a lot better btw.

I agree with all this. I watched the first episode, but prolly won't watch more. My mother had family around St. Joe, Joplin, Springfield, and when I was a kid I'd spend summers in that area. They always get it wrong about the Ozarks on TV.

It's not a ****ing documentary, Guys.

Why do people always assume film and TV should be 100% realistic?

We watched the first 3 or 4 episodes of the first season. We didn't like it because it was just too dark. Every single character had this awful dark side. Just too much.

I don't expect anything to be realistic, but sometimes misusing stereotypes is nothing more than laziness, and it can grate.

So kioshk doesn't live in a trailer, growing opium poppies?

I said I factored those out expressly to avoid this type of "not a documentary" bs!

I've been a Texan now for 35 years or so. No opium, no trailer. It's just me, my huge cattle ranch, and my oil wells, hoss.

Ozark peaked in episode 1 imo. There's a lot I don't like about it, but there's enough good stuff in there to keep me going. Wendy may have actually surpassed Skyler-level awfulness at this point. Also, I can only take Jason Bateman in small doses. He plays the same smug ahole in everything, and usually I end up just wanting to punch him in the face.

And speaking of not-top-notch-tv, I gave Euphoria a whirl based on a bunch of rave reviews. Wtf, this show is terrible.

We've resisted Downton Abbey because there's like how many years of it to watch? Plus, it just didn't call out to me.

Watched the first episode for s**ts and giggles and was hooked immediately. In the middle of season 2. So good.

We stopped watching Arrested Development. The first seasons were fantastic but when we got to the seasons after the break they took, we were pretty disappointed. Seems like they are trying too hard. It just lost its charm.

I loved the last episode, and the series as a whole. It took us a while to get through it; in my opinion it's a show you definitely have to be in the right mood for to really appreciate it, so my wife and I would only watch when we really felt like it.

We binged Season 3 the weekend it came out, so it had been a while. My wife and I were getting ready to watch Season 4 and she suggested watching the final episode, but instead I just rattled off what happened. She was impressed, so I had to tell her that I only knew it because the guy sitting next to me was watching it on the plane two days before with subtitles on, so I had essentially just watched it again....

Severance The basic premise is that people working at a super secretive company have to undergo a procedure where their work and non-work personalities know nothing about each other. When the clock into work, they cannot remember anything about their life outside work, and vice versa.

You just gotta suspend reality here to enjoy this one. But, we have really been enjoying it. The work world is a combination of scary and hilarious. As an added bonus, Christopher Walken makes random appearances.

Probably not for everyone. Watch the first episode. You'll know right away if it's for you.
