Finally finished Squid Game. Different and entertaining on some level but a bit much for my taste.

I was into it until the episode where they paired up. By then I was sort of invested in finishing it but it took the wind out of my sails.

How To With John Wilson on HBO is quirky and fabulous. Ostensibly about stuff like scaffolding, risotto, or wine, it's really about how to build a life and how to live life. Just watch it.

After hearing all the hype i signed up for appletv today because of ted lasso. Through the first two episodes and have literally laughed only one time! Is this supposed to be a comedy? Also, does it get any better? Does ted ever get human ? So far he hasnt made one mistake and seems to be a flawless character. Out of place, yes, but flawless characters are for fairy tales and kids shows. Is this show meant for kids or just stupid people? I switched over to billie eyelashes documentary and am enjoying it

I cannot take it anymore! Halfway thru ep 3 season 1 and have yet to laugh. Who finds a flawless forrest gump head coach funny? The only reason im posting this review is because it received such praise from the press and awards people. Its one of the worst shows ive seen in some time, its so bad its making me angry.

Being the Ricardos Nicole Kidman (as Lucille Ball) and Javier Bardem (as Desi Arnaz) star in this biopic that chronicles a "week" in the lives of the two stars.

I don't care too much for biopics so take this with a grain of salt. Kidman and Bardem were ok in this. Both did an admirable job but sort of fell a little short of great. I'm guessing there were lots of liberties taken in the story. They tried to cram their entire career/marriage into a couple of hours. I will say the dialogue was phenomenal, even if the story fell a bit flat.

Probably not worth a watch unless you really loved Lucy.

The Rescue Documentary about the rescue of 12 Thai boys (and their coach) trapped in a cave.

I cannot stress how good this is. One of the, if not the, most fascinating and moving documentaries I've ever seen.

Landscapers on HBO. Inventive series that stars the always terrific David Thewlis and Olivia Coleman.

I enjoyed it when I binged it a couple months ago, and IIRC it gets a bit better as it goes. Some other shows you might want to try so you get your moneys worth is Mythic Quest, Foundation, For All Mankind and The Morning Show. Here is a list from Rotten Tomatoes based on their scores.

I sort of feel/felt the same. However, my wife likes it and it’s the middle of winter so I’m sticking with it. Just finished season 3. It’s fine, once I reminded myself that it’s supposed to be entertaining (fiction).

Careful reading ahead on Ozark's S4 episode synopsis. I already had E1's ending spoiled for me.

I almost never rewatch TV shows until many years after the fact but about a week and a half ago I decided to rewatch Ozark since I knew the new season was coming. About half way through season 2 and the rewatch has been great.

I know I love Ozark, but it's a show that every time a new season starts I seem to draw a complete blank on what's going on.

Same but the recap was enough for me. In the middle of ep3 and loving it.

Billions got even woker, not sure how that was possible but pretty sure I am done with that subscription now that the 99c promo is over.

The final episode of Station 11 was terrific, especially the scene from Hamlet. It just worked.
