I’m watching the new lot released cooking with Paris. Cooking with Paris Hilton is for me, the most average thing I’ve watched in a while. I actually might be too good of a cook to watch the show as intended, I don’t think you’re supposed to watch the show and wonder how she would fare cooking actual legit dishes.
Still , I love Paris and it might be a “ back ground noise” show for me for awhile.

Selena + chef is better than both imo.
I actually like this show and Selena seems pretty cool and down to earth considering her fame. Her Grandparents live with her (but her grand dad comes across as a sarcastic a-hole or he might just have a strange sense of humor that comes across as unnecessarily critical), regardless, it captivated my attention and I binged the whole thing
Watched Brand New Cherry Flavour. It's really not very good, but watchable.
I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson is easily the funniest thing Netflix has ever done. It's the kind of show that will either click with you or it won't, but if it does, you will be in hysterics.
It wasn’t cataracts but I’ll never forget the little girl down the street with severe eye issues who (after corrective lenses, very thick) thought the trees had come alive because she’d never noticed moving leaves before.
My wife and I are watching Manifest, picking it up after I saw a bunch of hype and talk on twitter after the season (series?) finale in June. It pisses me off that we're still watching it, but here we are. Sometimes it's easy to confuse bad acting with bad writing, but in Manifest it's clear we have both. Horrible acting, especially from Josh Dallas, and horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE cliched writing. But I'm confident we'll watch the whole thing because the plot is intriguing, and then I'll make my wife watch the much better original version of this show: The Leftovers.
The show "I almost got away with it" is pretty amazing. Real life criminals tell their stories and it's all reenacted. There's a lot of murders, jailbreaks, gang violence, bank robberies, and other crazy stuff. 8 seasons currently and it can be found on youtube.
Probably only of interest to UK posters.
Accidentally rewatched “Minder”, the bloody awful theme song makes you forget how well written it was.
Arthur was a very dodgy character, Terry was his bodyguard.
Arthur “He’s ungrateful, he seems to have forgotten that fridge/freezer that I sold him , at that price it was a steal “
Terry “It was a steal”
“Well yeah, but that’s irrelevant “
Ex-boxer gangster to Terry
“I can still punch holes through you, do you know why that is? It’s because I would get John and Mike to hold you down while I did it.
Midnight Mass series on Netflix is absolutely brilliant....both a sober, reflective study of faith, addiction, and broken people, and one of the scariest horror TV shows I've ever seen.
season 2 of see just came out on apple tv (they have a 1 week free trial, after that is 4.99 a month). really enjoyed season 1, it is a dystopian science fiction series set in a world where almost everyone is blind and the world has reverted to a fairly low tech situation. some really great characters and the lore is pretty cool.

I enjoyed The Billion Dollar Code on Netflix. It's a true story about 2 Germans who sued Google for stealing the algorithm for Google Earth. It certainly does not paint Google in a good light lol.
anyone else in here watch Midnight Mass? It's very good.
Not exactly my favorite genre but am digging it so far. Love the mood and atmosphere and the fact that in seems very well done. Have watched one episode each night for the last 5 night. Sipping on vodka right now ready to go into the final 2 episodes. Things are starting to get intense and really looking forward to how it pans out. The limited series is probably my favorite format.
Midnight Mass - Meh
Finished it off tonight. I thought the first 4 (of 7) episodes were very intriguing. Then it pretty much sucked. The final episodes were dogshit. The only thing I can say for sure is that Annabeth Gish has aged incredibly well She is way more attractive at 50 than she was at 20. Like I said not my genre so you may or may not enjoy it. For me it was a strong start meh ending.
Like I said not really my genre. Horror/occult has to be really special for me to really enjoy it. That said I did love the build up just not the payoff. I liked the character mix and the small isolated island atmosphere and felt it was really well done.
if you're flipping channels and come across something you want to see more of (or start from the beginning), hit the 'y' key and it will open it up in youtube.
I Know This Much is True Mark Ruffalo takes a dual roles as brothers. One is a paranoid schizophrenic and another is a working man that tries his best to take care of his sibling.
This looked pretty interesting and we both like Ruffalo so we gave it a try. The quality is top notch (writing, acting, etc.) but it is sooooo heavy. We got through the first episode and had to watch Arrested Development to counteract the depression. I just can't watch any more of this. Way too dark.
