When They See Us, Ava DuVernay's take on the Central Park 5, is fascinating, and the actor portraying Korey Wise, Jharrel Jerome, delivers a riveting performance.

When They See Us - Central Park Five 4-part mini series. I didn't know the story. This is good and shocking. May watch the 2012 docu next. Some slower parts. Would've preferred more court room stuff. I feel they could've dragged out some parts and sped up some others. Overall recommend

Watched Ep 1 of Season 2 of Dark on Netflix. Was incredible and picked up right where S1 left off. Going to be an epic ride.

Same here, only watched 2 eps so far, but can't remember laughing so hard at a TV show. Her quick facial reactions to the camera are so perfect. She is incredibly talented.

She also played the voice of Lando Calrissian's robot in Solo: A Star Wars Story (I just watched it and knew the voice was super familiar but couldn't place it)

My wife and I decided to check out a couple of series we had heard about.

Eastbound and Down An obnoxious ex-major league pitcher comes back to his home town to substitute teach high school after hitting rock bottom.

My wife HATED this. She couldn't finish the first episode. The leading character is horrible in every way, which is the whole point of the show. I had to sort of muffle some laughter here and there on some really bad jokes that she found distasteful. Although I don't think I would put this anywhere near the top of my must-watch list, I got the joke more than she did and would probably sit through a few more.

I Love Dick A movie director moves to Marfa with her husband, who is going there on a research fellowship. Her intention is not to stay, but she meets her husband's sponsor, Dick, and is immediately infatuated with him.

Man, this is weird but oddly somewhat mesmerizing. I think we might try another episode or two but I think I'll either decide it is boring and pretentious or get sucked in so deep I can't wait for the next episodes.

Seems like this will be a very unpopular opinion, but I’ve gone from really liking Fleabag to not liking it at all. Mainly because I just find her completely unlikeable and a sh*tty person, which is strange as I love some other shows with sh*tty people at the center - Eastbound, British Office. Anyways I think it’s really well done, I just don’t like her.

I'm struggling through Season 1 of Fleabag. Every episode has gotten a little worse.

Eastbound is awesome. It's a lot more than just Danny McBride, there are some awesome characters in the show.

I'm always late to the party, but we started watching Veep (from the beginning). Truly remarkable comedy.

This is a severe understatement : S2 of Dark is f**king amazing And for those of yous who enjoy the sombre tone of the show, I recommend Perfume, also a German show with very similar pace.

Cannot understand how anyone could dislike Fleabag. It’s like disliking ice cream, or red wine. Or trees.

Late to Fleabag as well, but really enjoyed it! Season 2 is even better than I thought. Wish there were more but I guess it being a tight show was partly due to the limited number of episodes.

I'm glad that more people are now stepping forward to admit that; I was afraid that I was alone. I started watching Fleabag based on the raves in this thread. I hated the first episode, but continued to watch anyway, figuring that it must get better. I struggled through the second episode and then completely gave up halfway through the turd. Excuse me, third. Worse crap I've watched in awhile.

I hate red wine, too. I drink either Guinness or Talisker, depending on my mood.

But never red wine.

Don't get me started on the darn trees. Coming over here, taking our carbon dioxide.

I found Veep to be unwatchable, just didn't click with me somehow. It wanted to be as sharp and clever as shows like Arrested Development or Seinfeld but just wasn't in the same league imo.
